What is the difference between silky dreads and threaded hair, is it the same technique? It seems to me that the silky dreads have smaller parts and more threaded sectioned hair overall. Can anyone share their pics of old fashioned threaded hair or silky dreads. I'd like to get some but I don't want breakage. My hair is fine and fragile, also i am natural. My hair cannot stand braids with extensions so I was thinking this would be a great alternative and protective style. Please someone get back to me TIA. I'd like to get them for my birthday!
