Pomade to Hold Curls w/Iron

Is there a hair pomade or cream that :

1 - Can be used with a curling iron

2 - Will make curls hold & last as good as a strong hair spritz


anyone? Something with a really strong hold and won't weigh hair down flat. Thanks!

My stylist uses Keracare curling wax on each section of hair before she curls it with the marcel iron. It makes my hair super shiny and helps to hold the curl.

So I'm thinking that this isn't anything like that other red curling wax? The red stuff weighs my hair down and doesn't let it hold a curl at all.


Does anyone else out there know of other good holding creams?

There are a few different brands of the red curl wax, one that I used was very stiff and greasy, the one I use now has a softer consistency almost like grease and works perfectly for me, have to check the brand name though. When using curl wax a little goes a long way, the more you use the heavier and more limp your hair will be.

Have you tried a curl wax? QP Curl wax held my curls good. It smells better than the red one and isn't as heavy.
