Sarenzo Chocolate Butter

This butter provides my hair with incredible sealing power without making my hair feel heavy or weighed down.

Whenever I apply this to seal with, once my hair fully dries it it pure soft, moisturized hair...

A little goes a very long way too. I'm still using my sample size from a year ago and I barely even made a dent in it.

I barely made a dent in mine either. I also got mine a year ago.

JBCO in my DC- leaves me with crazy soft hair; think I'm going to use it all winter
LRC Shake & Go Spray- this spray is SO good; I use it as my protein spray LI on moisture wash days and I'm totally smitten. It made detangling a breeze & my hair was soft, moist, and smooth. It includes some of my fav ingredients (BTMS, cetrimonium chloride, aloe leaf juice, silk protein, keratin amino acids). It does contain cones and I'm not a fan of the steep pricing & shipping (which is why I tend to search far and wide for coupons for this vendor). I'll be hauling this one (and its lotion based equivalent) hard on SBS/CM.
Finding more backups to my backups to my staples- I cannot be without choices to my current small boutique staples because the small hair care business is no joke. These vendors are disappearing without a trace these days.

HITS:

- APB leave in and cremes: This really kept my hair moisturized throughout my stretch, it's pretty much all I use day to day.

- Ceramides: I increased my use and it really helped stop my breakage

- Blue Magic hair grease: It's great at sealing especially now that it's getting colder.

- Affirm creme relaxer in normal: Left the perfect texture despite my intense new growth, and I did not have to leave it in for too long.

- Affirm 5 in 1 reconstructer: Used it after rinsing the relaxer and my hair felt sooo amazing, it is the truth! Aphogee 2 min got nothing on it! My hair actually felt conditioned, super thick, and bouncy. My hair has never felt like this right after a relaxer, my hair had so much body!

- Joico moisture recovery conditioner: I was skeptical about it since it says to only leave it in for a minute, but I left it in for about 30 mins and my hair felt so good. It was well moisturized, strong, soft and bouncy. I think I may get a full size bottle.

Jakeala's Hibiscus & Flaxseed Cleansing Conditioner - Amazing. A nice & slippy cleansing crème.

I think the Flaxseed played a part in that

Big Hit!

I mixed SM Superfruit complex masque and Jakeala's Honey Mask, warmed it for a tad,(left it in for a couple hours doing homework) and my hair felt greeeaatttt after rinsing. Soft, yet not mushy, strong, and my coils were popping.

Idk which conditioner did the most work but neither had my hair feeling as great alone.

You just gave me an idea....:scratchch

I wonder how Jakeala's & SM Manuka Honey would work mixed?

I bought Jakeala's to mix (like b.a.sk./Bekura's YAM) And/Or to Cowash with, so I'm interested in trying combo's with this.

I'll also steam with it alone (maybe) to get a feel for it.

I wasnt impressed by the Sm Manuka Conditioner and Masque before I installed my protective style. It was ok.. I will give it another go when I come out of my crochet braids though.

I had mixed it with Blue Roze Beauty Manuka conditioner and molasses.

I agree. I tried it solo last week and was disappointed that it wasn't more moisturizing.

- Soybean (vegetable) oil. Steamed with it for 20 minutes, conditioner washed it out... This is the first time my scalp is moisturized AND my hair isn't greasy. Good stuff, it's cheap ($2 for 32 oz), I won't use that much every week and it can be found everywhere.

Lita that APB Ayurvedic mask is a solid staple of mines too. I always prepoo with it, but I get the same results you got.

Hits: Joico K Pak Reconstructor, Joico k Pak Shampoo, and Fantasia IC Thick N Shine gel. Apparently my hair prefers Keratin based products and my hair is beginning to look full again.

Miss: Products with olive oil give me mushy and limp hair.

Several months of heavy sealing really did a number on my strands so hopefully the protein products will send my hair back in the right direction.
