@faithVA
This is my first time doing a permanent black so I'm playing it by ear. I don't have grays I'm trying to cover so I'm assuming I could get away with just every 6 months, so maybe June and December? I'm having a house party tomorrow and will take down my hair for that so I'll post results and a review in the Colored Girls thread then. Hopefully you can give me some tips and tricks.

I'm going to a new salon Saturday since I need a trim...it's been 6 mos!
I'm iso a new stylist since my regular one is too far. I'm tired of the commute.

I want to get it straightened but idk, it's supposed to be hot all week.

Pre-poo/Quick detangle: Vatika coconut oil and as i am cowash
1st Shampoo: Redken Cleansing Cream
Protein: Shea moisture Tahitian noni and monoi weekly therapy. Then I actually read the instructions about applying it BEFORE you shampoo :look:
2nd Shampoo: the last of my CON argan oil (old formula)
Overnight DC: SM superfruit masque mixed with honey and my diy coffee oil
Leave-in/Stretch: almond oil, lottabody moisturise me, ogx shea serum and CON argan foaming mousse. Then installed the extra wide curlformers (love these) and sat under my soft bonnet for an hour. They didn't dry evenly so I put in 6 braids till tomorrow when I re-twist, but my hair is super soft and stretched nicely.

Still loving the occasional Honey Hemp cowash, which I did this morning. Tonight I'll wet my hair, detangle, and apply Darcy Shea Butter as a leave in. Then Miss Jessies Jelly Soft Curls to small sections and twist, put rods on, and take them down for a (hopefully) longer lasting twist out

Have woken up today feeling very tired, sluggish and unmotivated so trying to make waah day as pain free as possible. DCing on dry hair first so I only have to wash once to rinse out conditioner and shampoo. Will aim to air dry but may go under dryer hood for a bit before bed if it's still damp (not making the same mistake as last week even if I am tired!).

Today is wash day. I sitting here online with coconut oil and Trader Joe's Nourish Spa Conditioner for 30 mins before washing out. Concurrently, as I'm on these forums my ayurvedic powder (Sukesh) is mixed up and awaiting for me. I then will just use a leave-in conditioner with detangle properties, oil, and style cream (which can be used as a cream in the LOC method right?) I'll then section my hair in 4 braids and wear a wig as I go on about my day.
