I think My Hair Likes the Ayurvedic Oils

I have been following this regimen for using oils, and my hair seems to like it. I'm over 10wks post relaxer and my hair/ng and edges does not have that dry look. I just always thought oils would leave my hair weighted down and no body, but that's certainly not the case.

Nightly massage with Bhringraj and Mahabhringraj oil mixed
Shikakai Oil in the mornings (slicking back bun)
Pre-poo one hour/overnight with Amla Oil, Vatika Oil
Will add the Neem oil in the pre-poo when I receive it.

They must work for you because your hair is beautiful!

I have the Alma oil and the Vatika Oil. I'm going to quit playing and get the other oils. I know for a fact the Alma and Vatika Oil makes your ng soft and shiny. So, I'm going to quit playing and get on it:yep:

is neem oil traditionally used as a cooking oil?

I think I read that it is also a cooking oil. What I ordered is Neem Treatment Oil from indiaabundance.com. I agree that the amla does stink. That's why I opt to use it as a pre-poo and not daily.
