I am slowly but surely trying to break this necessary habit. Last year because of a poorly applied perm (over texturized hair) I had so much breakage that dusting was my only alternative to the shock of chopping. My hair finally began to grow and recover but I became addicted to dusting!
I'm trying to nip it in the bud. I went ahead and cut my hair a week ago. Now its all one length with a clean line all across so now I don't have any reason to dust!
