I am planning to apply a semi-perm haircolor to my hair and the instructions requires me to shampoo my hair first and then apply color, wait for 25 min,rinse out color and then style as usual,but, my question is how do i condition my hair since the instructions did not require conditioning? TIA

I applied a semi-perm colour last week and had the same question. I was told to shampoo, deep condition, towel dry, then apply the colour. I covered my hair with a plastic cap and sat under my hooded dryer for 30 minutes. I washed the colour out with conditioner, then blowdried. My hair looked and felt great...I used Clairol Beautiful in jet black. Good luck, let me know how it turns out.

It's really dark, I had to change my eyebrow pencil to match it, but I love it. Then next time I go to the states I'm gonna buy an entire skid of this stuff!
