Aubrey Organic

the company is called aubrey organics inc. the name of the products has always just been aubrey's. aubrey's never claimed to be certified organic they just use primarily natural ingredients, their hazard rating via the environmental working group is very low.

I get mine from whole foods. The only one I've tried is HSR, which I like just, but I have to doctor it up a bit to get the best results. I still buy it because I like the ingredients. I just bought WC but I haven't used it yet.

FoxxyLocs
Try the white camelia you'll love it too.

Love their products I haven't used all of them but tried a couple. I used them early on in my HHJ then I jumped on other bandwagons but I came back to Aubrey cause it's natural and it works.
My favs are AO GPB AO WC and AO HSR

@Raine054 Usually, I spritz my dry hair with water or Oyin's Juices & Berries, then I slater an AO conditioner on my dry hair in sections. The method works well for me and all my strands are covered. :)

And my sister wife @virtuenow already sang the praises of GPB! Thanks girl. lol

NappyNelle Haha! Whatsup sister! I tell ya, this girl is in love w/Aubrey (and not ashamed). @Raine054 I use a moisture aloe vera juice pre-poo that can be found here http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=509482

I love the Honeysuckle Rose and the GPB conditioners soooo much. Those are my natural, reasonably priced, on the ground HG products.

Yes, GPB is the best conditioner! Applying on dry hair works wonders. Many conditioners work better when applied on dry hair, IME.

Aubrey Glycogen Protein Balancer has been my staple along with coconut oil since I read about them on the hairboards in 2002. :yep:

Can someone describe the smell of the rosa mosquetta to me please. I read some reviews on the smell that was not compelling enough for me to purchase. Please confirm/deny if this is true.

Just wondering if the combo of using the AO conditioner and buying the shampoo is neccessary? Or do you guys just co wash it alone

No one uses the shampoo. They are only talking about the conditioners. blah54

A while back when I was looking at the shampoos a lot of people were saying they are not that good and their hair has a waxy feel to it after.
I actually won a bottle of the honeysuckle rose shampoo and I can confirm that it is not that great. It's usable but I wouldn't buy it. I'm actually still trying to finish it.

You girls make me sick , now I have to get the rosa mosquetta too, geesh!

lol :lachen:

To me the Rosa Mosquetta have a perfume scent to it. Not to strong but you can smell it. I like the scent of the conditioner.

I'm not as crazy about the shampoos, just the conditioners and some of the stylers. I used their dandruff shampoo (I think its discontinued) and their Island Naturals years ago and loved them both, but there are others I like better.

To me the Rosa Mosquetta have a perfum scent to it. Not to strong but you can smell it. I exactly like the scent of the conditioner.

Thanks hun. Okay, a perfumed scent I can handle if it's not too strong. In the cart it goes...

Anybody use the Aubrey Organics Swimmers Conditioner as a deep conditioner? It seems like it has some decent ingredients...

I've tried it and I like it but not as much as the AO GPB conditioner. I am glad I tried it because I would have driven myself mad just "thinking" about trying it.

Now it did make my hair feel a bit strong but without leaving that very soft and silky feeling like my beloved GPB does:lick:. I had to use some KeraCare Creme Humecto to get that soft and silky feeling that I am used to after a good DC, back in my hair.

If you are a swimmer, this would be the perfect conditioner for you because of the strengthening properties in it, but I am not a swimmer - just a PJ:lol:!

All these rave reviews, I am going to order these conditioners. I heard bad reviews about the shampoo, anyone tried the shampoo with this line? Is it worth it?

I won the honey suckle rose shampoo in a competition. It's not worth it. I can't wait until it's finished.

^^^AO has no allergic affects on me, in fact, this is the first time I am hearing about any allergic reaction from this line, but then again, I don't think I'm allergic to anything:look:.

I have tried the AO GPB Shampoo and even though it makes my hair a little hard, but not too hard, I still like it. It strengthens and cleans my hair really well and I always use the GBP conditioner right after using this shampoo. You would not believe how soft my hair gets when I use the conditioner right after the shampoo:lick:.

I did use my WC. I like it even better then the HSR. Now I want to try the GBP or is it GPB, lol. Whatever it is, I want some.

My hair Adores the WC...I swear, every time it goes on sale, I snatch up 5 or so bottles like a hoarder. Lol!

I agree that WC is best BUT the smell is not the business:nono: I use HSR as my finishing cowash and WC for steaming.

I just got the AO GBP and it made my hair knotty =(

but the Roux Porosity Control made my hair like butter.
I always believed my hair loved moisture and hated proteins, now I know it must be true.
