Adding vatika oil to relaxer

Has anyone added vatika oil to lye relaxers? If so, how did your hair turn out?

Would it be better to add simple oil, meaning not a blend of different oils to a relaxer as oppose to an oil like vatika that has a more than one kind of oil in its mix?

I have never added this oil to my relaxer, but I have added more than one oil to my relaxer before (EVOO and grapeseed) with good results. I cannot remember the ingredients of vatika oil though. I know it has a coconut oil base though, but I don't know if I would add that to a relaxer.

I'd say don't do it. No infused herbal oil in relaxers. You never know how they will interact in that chemical process. If I was gonna add oil, it would be jojoba....tho I think you'd probably be better served using the relaxer alone and going thru the neutralizing step BEFORE using any other products.
