Does the bible say anything about God inspiring people to have different interests/passions, that we should use to help others with?

1 peter 4:10 - Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.

Romans 12:6
6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith

1 Corinthians 12:4-6
4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.
6 There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.

1 Corinthians 10:31
31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Yes. In several places. There are also several historical accounts of how we are to be givers by utilizing the talents, skills, and abilities God has given us. Every good and perfect gifts comes from God. The whole point of him blessing (or empowering and inspiring) us is so that we can have our needs met, some 'wants' satisfied, ppl around us to see how good he is, and most important to have more than enough so that we can share and meet the needs of those in need. They become infected and the cycle perpetuates. This in turn builds his Kingdom. Giving him what he deserves- the praise, glory, and honor. God gives us the desires (places them there) that are in our hearts. We didn't just happen upon them. He is the source of those interests and passions.
