I think I was about 5 or 6 months.

yes, very different. it was wavy and looser but now it's tightly coiled in most areas.

Somewhat... it was just a bit looser when I had the relaxed ends. There were parts that were actually more tightly coiled when I was transitioning. They loosened quite a bit when I BCed. Also my hair became much softer after the BC.
