What Products Would You Love To See In A One Stop Shop?

Hello!

I’ve been living overseas off and on since 2013, but now I’ve been gone indefinitely for two years. There are no handmade products here and no good products period in my opinion. The best they have is some Aunt Jackie’s and Shesmoisture, neither of which I like. They don’t even really have Etsy sellers that I can run to. Every time I order products from home and my friends come over and try them, they are stunned. They never new such products even existed. So, I’m in the process of opening a store online where they can have access to the things we have at home in the USA.

I have difficult hair, and so there are few things I would buy for myself. That’s why I don’t be on this website as much as I use to- because you guys have me buying stuff I know won’t work for my hair but I want to get it because y’all like it lol. Anyways, what brand and products would you like in a one stop shop? I know you have things curlmart and hattache at home, but I don’t want to go on their sites and look at what they have. I want to know what you ladies like :)

Also, clean ingredients are really important to me. They don’t have to be organic per se, just as clean as possible.

Thank you ladies.

I like Elucene shampoos. I like TGIN leaven and deep conditioner. I like KCCC and UFD gels. The Doux Foam is pretty good too, depending on what I'm doing with my hair. I don't use much else on my hair.

@IDareT'sHair knows every product that has ever been made. Maybe she can help.

Thank you so much!!! I don’t use much either that’s why I need help haha. My 4 year old had different hair then me so I’m experimenting and learning her hair, but still don’t buy a whole heap of stuff. What is UFD? Thank you for reminding me about kinky curly and TGIN :) I also have a few bottles of Elucene shampoo on the way here to try!

UFD is Uncle Funky’s Daughter.

Some black owned products I really like:
TGIN Honey Miracle Mask
Shea Moisture Manuka Honey Mask
Mielle Mongongo Oil Hydrating conditioner
Mielle Babassu and Mint conditioner
Karen’s Body Beautiful Sweet Ambrosia leave in
Karen’s Body Beautiful Moisture Mist
Qhemet Aethiopika Butter
The Doux Mousse Def Texture Foam

I also like Design Essentials Almond and Avocado shampoo. Their products are geared to black hair but I don’t think they’re black owned.

I love multi-tasking products, so things that can perform well in multiple areas of my routine are awesome.
That Elucence Moisture Balance conditioner is really good stuff. It works well as a cowash, rinse out, and leave-in. I’ve heard some people had success with it for deep conditioning too but it was too light for that for me.

soultanicals is a solid brand all around and notoriously hard to get ahold of at times.
And for smaller brands that have gone mainstream while maintaining quality, Shescentit is what first comes to mind.

DE is owned by a black man :)

Is it?!?! I didn’t know that! That makes me so happy to know! Thank you!

And I should correct my previous post about Shea Moisture too. I forgot it isn’t black owned anymore. How could I have momentarily forgotten about that situation?

I like the Afro Sheen product line. It's been out for about a year. There are nine products in the line. My favorites are, Texture Flexing Foam, Slick Back Cream Styler, and Crown Defining Curl Cream. These products can be used on wet or dry hair and gives the hair good slip.

I would love to see the following black owned lines in a one stop shop (preferrably with all of their available products)

Sunny Isle
Kinky Curly
Oyin Handmade
Camille Rose

Also I would love to see a variety of medicated shampoos (Sulfur 8, Nizoral, T-sal) for those of us who have scalp issues.
