Still Using Jbco?

How has your hair changed since using Jamaican Black Castor Oil? I read so many good things about it, so I'm checking to see the latest updates from those who still use it. I just received my bottle a few days ago so I don't have much to say about it yet.

Ok, great thus far! I have been rubbing it on my hairline, now I'm about to put conditioner throughout my hair then add the jbco and put on plastic cap for few hours.

I have an almost full bottle that I keep forgetting to use. But I have used it to massage my scalp and to seal. Sealing with it makes my hair very soft.

It's too heavy for my fine hair to use as a sealant. I prepoo with it mixed with other oils + conditioner. My favorite thing to do is to slap it along my hairline all around, especially edges and nape, while I sit and DC. I rinse it out and can tell that a little bit stays as residue after I've styled.

Yep, still using it... I mix other oils with it, massage it on my scalp, steam on dry hair and deep condition after. Keeps my scalp happy, moisturized and holds the other oils I mix with it in place since they are thinner and would run down my face while steaming if I didn't.

I use it to seal. But it's the kind that has other oils in it. I forgot the name, it has about 15 other oils in it and smells nice. Makes my hair soft.

It seems you ladies are still having positive things about JBCO, that is good because when something is a fad you don't hear much about the product after a while. I am excited and hope to see improvement at some point..

I've been using it on and off on my edges for years. I Haven't really noticed a difference (probably because I look at them everyday) but my stylist says my edges are coming in.

I'm mix regular castor oil in my deep conditioner but I think I might start adding jbco.

I get mine from my local beauty supply store or samsbeauty.com

It's filling in my hairline very nicely. I've been using it since March and my hairline is very much recovered from box braids. I just have to wait for the short pieces to grow longer so that it's not noticeable.

That is the brand I purchased from Amazon as well.. I am going to give it until the end of the summer, like August to atleast see some type of noticeable difference. In the meanwhile, I've gotten past the smell, it don't bother me and I only been using it a week.

I buy the tropical isle brand JBCO from the Beauty supply store. But, found it much cheaper on amazon.

Ladies I put the oil on my scalp and throughout my hair and I love it. Unlike other ladies, I really do love the thickness of the product. I just purchased 2 more 8oz bottles thru Amazon.com.
