Post pics of your Braid Out, Twist Out, Bantu Knot Out, etc.

This is so pretty...I'm trying to figure out which one of my daughter's hair resembles yours?

I tried to compare but it's so hard. I think my oldest in the top next to yours. What products did you use?

ETA- hope you don't mind me comparing! If so I will take it down.

Oh no, I don't mind the comparison picture at all! I mostly used Shea Moisture products when I first BC'd, so I think I used the Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Milk and sealed with shea butter. Love your daughters' hair as well btw, just gorgeous!

Thanks! I love that milk...I'm trying out the one for thin hair (green label) hopefully this weekend.

Ooooh pretty... did you do this on wet hair? Also how many braids did you do? Scalp or individual?

It was 80% dry as I didn't have time to diffuse it. Then I did 3 braids to one flexi rod. Individual braids. That set overnight then I just took them out the next morning.

Accomplished my first successful bantu knot out:

You can see that definition wasn't as strong near the roots...I'm still learning! Still, this is probably the best bantu knot out I've had so I'm celebrating it

A braidout photo from last year (not the best photo bc I was weraing a black shirt :ohwell: ):

I just realized I need to update with more braidouts. I haven't worn one out in awhile!

This is really pretty...I'm have to look into this souffle! How much hold does it give?

Thank you! I would say it has a medium hold. I applied it to wet hair. A little goes a long way! And it gives a great shine and definition.

Myyyyyyy Turn! I've been unlocked for 3 days, this is THE FIRST style I felt comfortable enough to walk out the door with. LOL.

Gorgeous! (Your hair and your face) What products did you use?

Awww thank u! I washed my hair with dove moisture poo and conditioned with one n only argan oil mask. Then I applied one n only curl cream and kept my hair wrapped in a towel for an hour, then unwrapped for another half hour (until my hair was almost dry). I then applied more curl cream and did 4 French braids with perm rods on the ends, that I then stretched and held in place with bobby pins. Took them out the next day.

I plan to try this with wen and the wen styling cream next.

Oh I also forgot to mention I use this on my edges

I have never used a gel this great in my entire life! It doesn't matter how much new growth I have, this lays my edges down so smoothly and does not get gunky. Best.Gel.Ever.
