USE UP YOUR STASH 2014: Session 1

I have too many protein treatments in my stash. After my next color I will be giving some away. I will keep the Giovanni, use up the rest of the 4 Naturals Reconstructor. I will give away the L'Oreal Repair Mask since it was an inexpensive purchase. I probably will give away the Komaza as well. I've yet to use it and need to pay attention to my instinct which tells me to leave it alone.

I will try out the Hairveda Red Tea. If it works I will keep it. I wasn't paying attention when I purchased it. I should have purchased something more moisturizing Oh well, what's done is done.

What are your motivations for joining this challenge?

I want to decrease the clutter in my life and actually try products that i buy and and actually make dents in my staples. I would like to decrease spending as well as have a clear idea of what works for me and what doesn't. I also want to make informed shopping decisions and stop buying things because they are the latest "greatest thing ever created for natural hair". I would like to learn to experiment responsibly.

I honestly did pretty good all year long and splurged on Black Friday. I am currently still working through a pretty heavy stash and will be holding out on buying products until Black Friday 2014.

I am running out of product like nobody's business. Doing 2 heads of hair weekly, then having men in my house that use my stuff as well is putting a dent in my stash. I need a line that offer salon size products so I will be placing an order with HairVeda once I use up the rest of the products on my list. I was trying to get out of ordering hair products on line because it's such a hassle when I can pick something up locally. But unlike Silk Dreams; Hairveda has these huge salon sizes, the shelf life is longer and I can get away with only ordering once per year. So after this purchase, I'll only order on Black Friday. I've used Hairveda before so I know it works well with my hair.
