Happy April 1st, ladies!

Steaming right now with Pura's Brazil Loc Oil. :pepper:

My steamer broke last night! The water started pouring heavily into the little drain cup. I removed the water supply container and noticed the rubber gasket had broken and fallen into the container.

I'm so disappointed. I'm going to look for my purchase information. If I can't find it, I'll need to buy a new one.

nichelle02 That sucks! You maybe able to replace the rubber gasket yourself if you have to. Just take the broken one to Home Depot/Lowe's and see if they carry it. GL!

kittenz you know that's a good idea. The gasket fell into the container so it will take some work to get it out. But I'm going to give it a try. That has *got* to be better than buying a new one.

nichelle02 I hope you can fix it!

Speaking of broken steamers, I fell and broke one of the legs of my steamer! It still balances and works fine, but maybe I can get my stepfather to glue it back or something. I was so mad.

I'm still under the steamer now; I pre-pooed with coconut oil, added AO GPB, steamed, then added AO HSR, and I'm steaming again. Usually, I will shampoo between conditioners, but I was feeling lazy today. LOL

IDareT'sHair Oooh, yay! Isn't the texture delicious? I love how creamy it is. :lick:

You gotta let me know what you think after rinsing it out!

tiffers

Hey, did you use/try Purabody Naturals Chocolate Hair Smoothie? I'm tryna' find somebody who has used/tried them both.:yep:

Upon 1st instinct, it totally reminds me of PBN. The smell, the application, the absorbency and the consistency.

If you've used them both, give me a shout out on how you think they compare and/or are similar.:look:

Right now, I'd hafta' pull PBN back out (maybe next wash day) to see for myself.

What do you think?

This is right on time for me. My hair responds well to steaming. I plan to steam at least twice a month. I will use the steamer I got from LCL beauty. I am in the process of changing my conditioners. I just tried the silk elements from sally's, but it was just okay to me.

IDareT'sHair See, you bout to make me steam with each conditioner on both sides of my head! :lachen: #needsanexcusetosteam

From what I can remember, I wasn't too wowed by the Chocolate Smoothie's performance or texture. But I haven't used it enough to give it a fair shot.

I only used Mocha Silk Infusion on a little area in my head, but I liked how it made my hair feel...

IDK, T, I think Imma steam with both of them. Raght nah.
