**Hair Porn Alert!** LongHairDontCare's NEW Hair Journey Video!

Her hair is beautiful...however, I'm believing that her Hair indeed is in a league of it's own.

It is totally on point the color, the thickness, the lushness. I have seen many on this forum with great long hair but not that smooth and lush and thick all at the same time.

I can cornrow my hair from now 'til doomsday and it will never be in that league. Never, ever.

She is very fortunate and obviously takes a lot of time caring for and nurturing her hair. I envy her.

The hair porn that is posted from time to time is inspiring and sometimes we can take different points from some but some of us will never reach these goals.

My hair is kinky, coily 4B it will never look like that .

Jebus!! Now thats not even fair right there. She could get about 4 or 5 of us to MBL if she cut a few strands and donated...:lachen:

 And WHAT is her regimen again?

Homegirl is FIEERRRCCCEEE! I couldn't believe my eyes. Snaps for her!
I started a thread on this called: You Adore LongHairDontCare's Results....But Are You Willing to Adopt her Regimen? in there I outlined what she does in detail.

In essence she keeps her hair in a braided protective style like cornrows or box braids 6 months outta the year, she blowdrys prior to braiding each time which amounts to blowdrying once a month. So she washes her hair while in brads during that month. For the six months she's out of braids thats when she does all the other creative styles: twists, flat ironed straight, buns flat twist updo's braid-outs etc:yep:

I know wat u sayin but in the video it looked like her hair got thicker over time. At least IMO
Well I can tell you that as your natural hair gets longer it will definitely appear more and more huge:yep:....which I love:love2:

I just...don't understand how she can blow dry her hair all the time with no repercussions. damn it hair, get with the program :perplexed
She doesn't do it all the time....she does it every month or 5 weeks.....so thats not super frequent. And it really does help with retaining length and keeping ssk's at bay.

I adopted her regi under wigs going for 6-8 weeks at a time. 3 months down and 9 months to go. Hopefully I will be able to do 12 more months and be waistlength by then if Lord willing.
I've adopted her reggie as well! I'm going on my third week with my second install of my crochet braids....and the retention I've gotten by keeping my hair in braids and leaving it be has been phenomenal.

Hey, Hey, Hey! :bighug: C'mon, talking like that won't help things at all. Do you know about Sera on YouTube? Here is her 5 year progress video She's one of my hair idols and she has 4b hair to her waist and its just as gorgeous. I'm sure you know of Mwedzi on here as well, if she's not WL already she's like 2 inches away. Your hair may not look identical to hers but thats the beauty of us all being unique individuals....we can reach our own personal best:yep:

If I had a head of hair like that...everywhere I walked would be runway - u would think I was ANTM!!! She is very photogenic!

Not too mention she is slender and all that hair looks like it is half of her body weight!!

Love it!!!

Yep, I saw the vid over the weekend cause I've been an subscriber of her's since last Aug or Sept. I luv her hair!:love4:

In one of her earlier tutorials she states that she only washes and blow dries her hair once a month. Also she's very careful not to put high heat on her ends so blow dries them on the cool shot.

:cry3:

As LadyP's siggy says, "To grow is human, to retain is divine". Not only has she been retaining length, but she's ever-gaining and retaining thickness, which is truly admirable. I was completely floored by the huge french braid, long, juicy twists and resulting twist-outs.

I'm trying her regi but am still looking for the optimal braiding pattern and duration that suits my fine strands and sensitive temples.

Yes, her hair is drop-dead gorgeous!

Very few women will have hair that looks like this even if they adopt her regimen and stick to it for 100 years. Genetics ain't e'rythang, but it's alot. People with thin, less-dense hair can NEVER get their hair to look like HER hair, but anyone's hair can look exponentially better with the proper regimen.

I'll be back to say something nice after the jealous streak passes. Right now, I'm blinking back tears...

Are those not the best twist/twist-outs you've ever seen in your life so thick lush shiny and juicy!!:lick:

I feel you! Right now I've decided that the best way for me to go is to add tiny pieces of hair to catch my edges (but gently) and then continue to braid along. I've actually fallen in love with very thin cornrows on women....I think it looks amazing and would have excellent lasting power. Here are some examples of what I mean:

FYI this is done with very subtle extension hair and you can tell her braider is on point because its not too tight at all.

This is beautiful, its done with medium sized braids....my only issue wit it would be how it would hold up to weekly washes....I don't think it would hold up staying too neat in my type 4 hair:ohwell: but its still gorgeous nonetheless

I think cornrows on women look awesome when they're done in like three different layers as well as opposed to just straight back.....there are alot of ways to make it look very feminine and sleek......I've been thinking about that lately....I think I could pull off some nice cornrows and it makes it s easy to moisturize and seal.

wow. I love her hair.
Sigh...my hair will never be so thick and lush.
For now, I'll live vicariously through my dd2 - I think her hair looks a little like hers unstraightened.

Thanks for those ideas, BMP! I'll be looking into extension hair and trying a different pattern and smaller braid size next time. I need to step up my braiding game!

oh man, im here on my dinner break at work in utter awe...hair so thick and luscious...think i want some cornrows now lol

/\ Girl you and me both! Well, I've already been in cornrows for over two months now....but I'm considering just wearing my cornrows on their own.....and just making that look cute:scratchch..........decisions, decisions.

Whats so amazing about her hair is that you can't really tell how big it is in her cornrows. Then she lets it loose and BAM!
She said that she gradually evened out her natural layers which probably helps with her overall thickness :scratchch...

O M G!!!!!!!!!!!!

Her hair is soooo freakin awesome!!! Runnin to get some braids right now..

:thud::thud::thud::wow::wow::wow:

thou shalt not covet

Good deal  ...thanks cause that's what i've been doing.
And i knew there was a way to explain this....lol..but i didn't know how.

GREAT point....I didn't even think of this factor but its sooo true. Having your hair completely blunt at the ends with no layers will definitely amplify thickness:yep:

I'm having a vision :crystalba I see a lot of women this summer in cornrows spraying them with juice :lachen:
O-KAY!:lachen:
