it's pretty straight and we had rain today. I just pray my curls come back when I'm ready to wash it.
I was saying that same prayer last week myself, lol. I prepoo'd with V05 Clarifying Kiwi cond, shampoo'd (only have to lather once, that's why I used a clarifying condish), and- here's the important step- a protein treatment that contains collagen and elastin. I used Nexxus Polymedic recon but anything will do. The collagen and elastin make your curls boing back if that makes sense.

Disclaimer: of course, follow all protein with a moisturizing dc. Didn't think I had to tell you, but you never know who's reading.

wow, I can't believe how much your hair has grown. When did you BC? And how many inches were you after your BC?

I BC'd on August 2, 2014. It was about four inches. I think it's probably six inches now. I need to find the measuring tape and measure it while it's straight.

Lovely, it surely grew. Did you do it yourself or did a beautician.? What did you do to preserve it for the next day?

I went to the salon. I will not be using heat on my hair myself. I also only plan to do this only once or twice a year. I wrapped my hair and tied it up in a satin scarf.

Is it horrible that I spent all that money yesterday on my hair (dye, steam, blow dry and flat iron) and I'm tired of it being straight already. I'm so ready to have my curls back. However since I spent so much yesterday I'm going to be rocking this straight hair until at least Saturday. I may end up washing it sooner especially if I work out. Originally I said I was going to take off this week at the gym. I may go to workout just to have the excuse to wash my hair.

Are you able to put your hair up yet when it's natural? Sent from my iPhone using LHCF
I can get it into a ponytail but I wouldn't wear it out that way. It would feel like a struggle ponytail.
