I receive occasional email offers from beautysak.com, and today, the company is promoting the Solano ceramic flat iron.

Questions: Do you know anything re: this particular brand of flat iron?
Additionally, what is the difference between a standard ceramic flat iron and a straightening flat iron? The straightening ceramic flat iron has removable combs. My question is: What are the benefits of the straighening combs to Black hair?

The ceramic flat iron that I have is made by Jilbere (sold at Sally Beauty Supply).

I pretty much use it to do what y'all do with a flat iron, but I also bump the ends while I'm at it (if I plan to wear my hair down)
