Didn't eat or drink as much as usual because of issues. I have re-adjust my diet to avoid flare-ups, have to stay away from certain foods. Couldn't swallow vits today, will hopefully be back on track tomorrow.

Been Lurking in this Thread - will Join!:hungry:

I have been embarking on a Plant Based Diet (so I won't list everything I eat).

But I have been eating plant based and overall trying to eat better/cleaner.

Trying to decide if I wanna be Vegan, Vegetar, Pesca or Flexatarian? Not sure? But, for all intents and purposes have not been consuming meat.

Also doing smoothies in the a.m. and currently taking Nzuri Liquid Vitamin for Hair.

Hi ladies!

I won't be starting my healthy regimen until next week :look: But here goes:

1. Tell us about your hair now and how you hope improving your diet can improve it over the next year.
My hair has been between MBL and HL for about 2 years. I figure eating healthy and more tlc will get me past that mark.

2. Come check in everyday.
I may not be able to post daily, but I'll post as often as possible per week (if the OP will allow)

Welcome @Godsdaughter001 :welcome: Come check in as often as you can :yep:

For breakfast I had rice, beans, avocado, moringa, raw vegetables and coked vegetables.

I just drank some nettle, burdock, plantain leaf and dandelion root tea. Sprayed my scalp with and massaged in some of the tea. :afropick:

Your breakfast sounds so YUMMY! Can post a pic next time? :lick: :flahssssss:

What's the benefit of the plantain leaf and dandelion root?

What's the benefit of the plantain leaf and dandelion root?

i will try to remember that.

Dandelion helps with liver detoxification which in turn strengthens the body and its organs which skin, including the scalp, is one of them.

Plantain leaf is great for skin irritation.

I heard a saying once that disease cannot exist in a body where the blood is pure. I try to look for herbs that help to purify the body. These herbs are rich in minerals that not only nourish the body but are greatly beneficial for scalp health.

That makes sense to me. Thanks for this :rose:

That looks really good. I ended the night with a warm drink of ashwaganda, maca, moringa, turmeric, and molasses. It does not taste the best but I am getting used to the flavors and I know it is good for me.

I admire your fortitude @NicWhite I tried
mixing powders into molasses and I find tumeric ok, but that moringa taste is strrooong.

Challenge random thought: I need to get back to my WI roots and eat some good ol yams and eddoes. Breadfruit! :lick:
