OMG! i can't beleive there isn't a thread like this already!
if there is....don't shoot me!:lachen:

So what are you 2013 hair resolutions???? Let's hear 'em!

Mine are:

1. No more scrunchies/ponytail holders
2. DC once a week
3. Use more oils
4. Use less product
5. Use Ayurvedic Powders and Henna more frequently
6. Be more consistent with my vitamins

hmmm...that's it....i'll let ya know if I can think of anymore!:drunk:

My main resolutions are to incorporate scalp massages, drink more water and keep up with my regimen.

My resolutions are:
use direct heat 1-2 a month
wear my hair straight 100% of the time
deep condition weekly with heat for at least 30 min.
Trim every 3-4 months
try to be consistent in recording my progress.

I really slacked on my haircare in 2012.

I plan to protective style all year, no heat, and a really simple regimen.

And to stick to my staples since I know what works for me.

dont worry about it so much.

i mean, i plan to take care of it...but im not going to focus as much attention on it.

~Take my biotin
~Drink more water
~Stop jump on every hair bandwagon

Im keeping it simple this year so I can see progress.

My Resolution is to:

ENJOY MY HAIR! LOL

I will continue to take care of it, but I want to ENJOY it

My resolution is to:

~ stay away from the scissors
~DC once a month
~do more protective styles
~stick with one hair color (I love to change colors way too much, which always results in me cutting my hair to get rid of the old color)
~pay more attention to my ends
~retain all my length (staying away from the scissors AGAIN)
*I think if I keep saying this I will actually do it this time*

2013 Hair Resolutions:
-protective styles consistently
-nightly scalp massages
-moisturize! moisturize! moisturize!
-no heat
-no product bandwagons

PROTECT my ENDS at ALL COSTS!
GET to MBL this year!

Be way more gentle when taking down twists and braids...I used to rush
Wear my twists UP more and do more braided updo's.
Be better about moisturizing and sealing my ends.
Enjoy my hair more...wear more fun updo's
Start a hair blog....I'm looking to start this summer.

-Keep up with my regimine (not allowing myself to become lazy)

-Consistant trims

-keeping myself healthy on the inside.. because it reflects greatly on my outside

-Becoming Healthy MBL (i think waist length might be pushing it...so i might save that goal for next year )

Stay in curly-kri mode. Love my texlaxed curls to the point where I only straighten on special occasions.

Stick to my 16+ stretch. Don't stray for no reason.

Deep condition with a real dc once a week and before I flat iron. Do not get lazy and use regular conditioner for an hour, its not the same.

Clarify once a month.

Drink more water.

Massage my scalp before I go to bed.

Use protein, buy ors hair mayo regularly, don't let it run out.

Have back-up scarves.

Enjoy my hair.

Swype thinks weird and wierd are both correct

My resolutions:

1.) Find more protective styles to increase variety.
2.) Use heat with every DC (or as often as possible)
3.) Trim more often.
4.) Clarify more often.
5.) Be less heavy-handed with products.
6.) Reach BSL by March, MBL by year's end.

1) Stay more consistent with M&Sing and DCing. My crown (where my new growth is thickest) suffers from breakage when I don't moisturize regularly.
2) Save money by sticking with my main products now that I'm confident that each works with my hair. Little to no experimenting for awhile.
3) Enjoy my new bangs! Last stretch, I got lazy and just pulled my hair into a bun most days. The whole reason I got bangs was to dress my buns up a little!
4) Get over my fear of dusting!

Get to Full WSL

Stay Consistent W/my DC Treatments

Loc and Seal method and wear Bun 99% all this Year ( Yes, borrrinnng)

Co-wash Every Second day followed with the loc and bun method.

stay Consistent with my Vitmains and Vibrant Health Green Drink

Keep up with my protein Treatments

only relax one time this year in August, then January 1st next Year

Wash it biweekly instead of once a month
DC once every two weeks
Wear it stretched more often
Health before growth
