2010 HAIR RESOLUTIONS

1) Retain very inch!
2) WL hai by June 2010.
3) Bunning and protective styling
4) Detangle more gently
5) Continue with tea rinses and co-washing in braids to reduce breakage

1. Reach my goal of ...WSL
2. Drink more water.
3. Continue my scalp massages (I haven't in over a week)
4. Develop a regimen (I have to!)
5. Use heat ONCE a month for a special occasion.
6. Chill with product purchases, I ODeed in 2009.

Short term rezzie: Not to use heat until January 30th.:)

Hope this is simpler than the usual lose weight resolutions, but somehow I think it will be harder. :lachen:

- learn and practice keeping my hands out of my hair. i pick at it when stressed and constantly check to see if i'm noticing any growth by pulling on it in places. gotta stop that.

- pre-poo and deep condition more often. i don't know HOW often, but perhaps at least once per week. i've been cornrowing for weeks and did a pre-poo with coconut oil yesterday. i think it went well.

- stay away from trims at least the latter half of the year. i've been transitioning from relaxed to texlaxed for the last year, so all my new texlaxed tresses have almost completely replaced my relaxed hair, meaning no real length retention. well, if i decide to go natural, i will just grow it out; i will NOT trim off the texlax.

- find a scarf that will endure my wild sleeping! or buy more satin pillowcases. i have one, but it's usually on the floor by morning... with the scarf and bonnet i put on my head the night before. crazy. i know.

- use up everything that in my cabinets before buying new stuff (save leave in conditioners).

- retain all 5-6 inches i grow over the year.

I'm trying to keep mine simple because I know how these New Years Resolutions go. :look:

1. Take vitamins
2. Do more rollerset/flexirod/twistout
3. Make it to BSL by December 2010

Make a decision once and for all about whether I want to be natural or relaxed. I've lost so much length BCing every 6 months :wallbash:

1. Always have my hair styled
2. Keep up my vitamins
3. I honestly think that I can make waistlength this year
4. When I reach my goal have my hair cut into a super fab style

-exercise more often (i think this will make a big difference in my growth)
-moisturize and seal more every other day
-continue DCing and rollersetting weekly
-relax only 3 times in 2010
-use my flat iron 12 times or less in 2010
-scrape BSL by my birthday June 12, full BSL by end of year

  1. Get rid of my dandruff
  2. Braid my hair every three months
  3. Use more moisturizing DC's
  4. Baby my ends
  5. Get thicker hair
  6. Make bsl by december 31st 2010

1. deep con weekly- need lots of moisture
2. take vitamis every other day
3. more stretched styles: twists, rodset, straight
4. goal: APL by may 2010; BSL by Dec. 2010

My goal is to reach APL this year; back locs are currently grazing shoulders. I think that my locs are at the end or close to the end of their shrinking phase. To promote this my plan is to:
1. wash often, at least twice a week
2 find a great conditioner
3. spritz at least twice daily
4. keep my locs covered at night
5. weekly scalp massages
6. eat healthy
7. drink plenty of water

My 2010 hair resolutions:

-No heat, except for special occasions
-Find one set of staple products and stick with them/curb pjism
-BC and enjoy my journey into natural hairdom

1. Stop buying products needlessly and use up my stash products.
2. To wash and DC every-week without fail.
3. To take my vitamins everyday for my hair and overall health.
4. To Baby my edges.
5. To see a serious dermatologist this year and stop messing with those Charlatan Trichologists I keep seeing.
6. To listen to my hair.....
7. Stick to my Reggie.
8. To obtain at least 6 inches of growth this year
9. After I have used up my stash to move to more natural based, Ayurvedic and homemade products (have already started researching).
10. To eventually move away from using Sulphate shampoos and to eventually use them 1x per month for Clarifying purposes.
