Lack of healthy relaxed heads on Youtube?

Ok so recently I had been feeling kinda blah about my HHJ. Even though my hair has been doing fine, sometimes I just like to see some impiration, to remind myself what my hair potentially could look like in a year or so. I decided to do a search on youtube to see some new relaxed hair porn. lol it one of my hobbies. And shockingly I found like 1 girl that I wasn't subscribed to before whose hair was very long (WL), thick healthy, and actually took care of her hair well. The rest were just....sad, chewed up and spit out ends, ect. Idk just thinking out loud here but it kinda made me sad. Of course Im subscribed to Traycee, MsKibibi, and fgrogan to name a few, they def are some of my inspirations but idk it still kinda bothers me. I forgot that the rest of the world dosent have the knowledge that we have here at LHCF.

There are quite a few I've seen - I don't always subscribe and relaxed hair isn't my focus, so I don't remember their names. There is a channel with two sisters on it who both have healthy relaxed hair - they say they use motions. Then there's Ateyaa - she's quite prominent. Most hair yt'ers are past or current members of LHCF and the popular hair boards - BHM, nappturality, naturally curly, etc. Sometimes it's hard to find them using yt search but if you find one you can meander around and find others by following links to their subscribers.

Yeah, I was on youtube Friday night doing the same. However, I was looking for self relaxing visuals (which was also a fail)!

She does a self relaxer tutorial, not sure how good it is as I get my hair done at the salon.

Me too. i was trying to do that today since I wanna relax in the next three weeks. My fav one though would have to be from MsKibiki. Shes a member here. She like surgically precise with everything. I love it

Hey all!! I am on Youtube as well! I am relaxed and BSL and I am all about healthy hair growth! I try to do videos that people want to see as well as wig videos as that is my protective style of choice! I am still trying to come up in the YouTube ranks so as always all your sopport is greatly appreciated!

I always enjoyed watching vids from Traycee and Hairlicious and it's good to know there are others. They made me realize it's possible to have healthy relaxed hair.

In the past two years I've been on my hair journey, I've easily managed to find plenty of women with healthy relaxed hair on YouTube, many of them already mentioned in this thread. You must just not have been looking hard enough.
