Valentine's Day 2010 2 Month Fun Challenge!

Well, my BF and I are going on a trip for Valentine's Day next year and I want to be rocking with some awesome swang by then! :yep: So in the next 2 months, I'm gonna be going all-out hardcore and doing everything in my power for ultimate growth and healthy ends for that special day!

It's only 2 months and 5 days away, if anyone wants to join me, I'll be posting reggies and starting pics on DECEMBER 14th.

Regimen:
24/7 Bunning (Air dry method only)
No Direct Heat
Wash/Co-wash (3x week)
Deep Condition (with every wash)
Prepoo overnight (before every wash)
Scalp massage every night before bed with EVOO
Moisturize and seal every morning/night...and whenever my hair feels dry

Exercise:
Cardio 5/6x a week
Weight 3x week
1400 calories per day

Vitamins (Take EVERY DAY):
Super Chlorella 3,000mg
Women's Multi-vitamin
Silica 500mg
Msm 1000mg
Omega 3-6-9 2400 mg
Biotin 1000 mcg

Goal:
2 inches of growth
Finally make APL (1 inch needed)
Start next challenge of BSL!!

Reward to Self If Goal is Accomplished:
Treat myself to Aveda Salon Color Treatment (Medium/Dark Brown)!!:pray::pray::love3:

I wasn't going to join, but I've been inspired. I wanna be fly on V day too, so please count me in too. (I'm already in the GYHOYH challenge but I think I can get a pass of that day) Good luck ladies. LET"S GROW/THICKEN SOME HAIR!!!:yahoo:

Off to a great start! On the 14th, I'll compile a list of who has taken up the challenge. :D

Haven't quite got my regimen figured out yet, but I know I'll be stretching to just before the 14th to make it 5 months! Plus plenty of vits and exercise!

I'm so in. My SO and I's 4 year anniversary is a week before valentine's day, but I have a feeling we'll be celebrating a week late this year considering his crazy work schedule and our plans.Here's my starting pics well the last pic is my starting pic.

My Regimen:
2-3x per day: Moisturize w/ water, cantu leave-in conditioner and seal with unrefined shea butter
2x per week: co-wash
1x per week: Deep condition
2x per month or as needed: Clarify with baking soda and water/conditioner (no shampoo)
1x per month: Henna
1x per month: Protein Treatment with MT
48 oz. of water a day (6 - 8 oz. glasses)
1 Multi-Vitamin and Kelp Vitamin a day

Count me in. I do okay in short-term challenges like these. I'm going to go hard on the protective styling. I'm also going to not use a comb or brush each time I detangle. I'm going to detangle with my fingers only at least every other detangling session.

It's not too late to join! I don't think I'll have a signup cutoff, but remember it's only a 2 month challenge! The earlier the better!

I'm going to hold off on posting pictures until I relax (it'll be soon), and I'll post my reggie soon too...right now I have to get off LHCF and work. :spinning:

Okay, here's what I'm going to be doing:

Daily Vitamins and Supplements:
  • Biotin 7500 mgs
  • Chlorella 4000 mgs
  • Spirulina 3000 mgs
  • Acai 3000 mgs
  • Garlic 6000 mgs
  • Sundown Naturals Hair, Skin, and Nails

Basic Regimen:
1. Shampoo, proteinate :)spinning:), DC, and rollerset once a week.
2. If I have to clean my hair in between wash days, I'll DC, Co-wash, and rollerset.
3. Moisturize and seal hair as needed.
4. Oil scalp with JBCO/Vatika blend about twice a week.
5. Bun daily.
6. Keep hands, combs, and brushes out of hair.
7. Baggy ends at least three times a week.
8. Drink 64 oz of water a day.
9. Dust as needed.

I don't think I'll get to APL this year, so I'm going to make it my goal for this challenge. I probably won't have a man by Valentine's Day, but at least I'll have some hurr. :look:

The line is APL, I'd like to get at least the tip of my hair past that line by February.

I could have sworn that I posted in this thread before but I guess not.
I want to join too!! I'm going to try to hold off till around V-day to do my relaxer which would make it four and a half months since my last one.
