This question is primarily for those who cowash only (or mostly) and have BSL or longer hair. BUT it is also for those who have had significant growth through cowashing but whose hair may be shorter than those lengths...

Okay so I have Grave's and my hair has been super dry since then. I retain through heavy dcing and it's gotten my hair long but I was thinking of slightly switching up my regie.

Questions....feel free to copy and paste.

Those who co-wash BSL & Longer or w/ significant growth through cowash:

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)
2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products?
3) Do you also dc and how often.
4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes.
5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list)
6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner?

Anyone out there? I know it's early in the morning, but ....anyone?:look:

You don't have to be bsl. You just have to have had succcess and retaining hair through co washing.

Where are you lucia...I know she's mentioned cowashing only in one thread, and I think Cichelle has also. Can you shed some insight?

My Answers...

Those who co-wash BSL & Longer or w/ significant growth through cowash:

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)2-4 times a week, whatever condish i'm trying to use up. Sallys Salon Care Conditioner in the gallon container, ORS Replenishing Conditioner, etc.
2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products? No set schedule, when ever my hair feels dirty with whatever shampoo i have at the time. I have John Freida for brown hair, Ion for Color Treated hair, Suave Clarifying shampoo, and Herbal Essences DeGunkify.
3) Do you also dc and how often. Before and after i straighten, which is usually 2 times a month.
4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes.I don't know:look:
5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list)I usually put Qhemet's Burdock Root Butter Cream on it then use the Olive Honey Hydrating Balm to slick it back in a bun. If I don't have any of that I'll just use what ever moisturizer I have laying around.
6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner?Hmm:scratchch...I'm not sure. I like it because if my hair is curly I have to wet it every day to make it look decent so It's easier to wet it, throw some conditioner on it, rinse, and go. That illusive thing known as 2nd day hair... I think it's a myth I've never experienced it:nono: so wetting my hair every day when curly is the only option for me.

Yay! An answer!:hiya:

Thanks so much for responding. Your info is very helpful and your hair is gorgeous.:yep:

I am not BSL (yet) but I will forever advocate cowashing.

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)
at least 3x a week; I have a few on rotation, including HE LTR, HE HH, Organix Vanilla Silk, Aussie Moist, and Trader Joe's Nourish Spa
2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products?
no more shampoo for me...only ACV rinses every week or 2
3) Do you also dc and how often.
on the same day that I do the ACV rinse -- GVP Conditioning Balm or Kenra MC or Aussie Moist with random things thrown in...under the dryer for 45 mins followed by the ACV rinse
4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes.
Invest in a leave-in that WORKS for you, or leave in some of the conditioner, same effect...i use GVP leave-in
5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list)
GVP leave-in followed with jojoba oil to seal
6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner?
I think it helps a lot -- I did it last summer on a whim (joined the cowash challenge) and it changed my life. This winter was the real test; I didn't get nearly as much growth when I couldn't walk around with wet/damp hair all the time.

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please) I co-wash weekly with VO5 or Suave conditioners.

2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products? I only use shampoo if I feel buildup on my hair; maybe, 4-5 times a year.

3) Do you also dc and how often. I DC after texlax touchups only, 4 times a year.

4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes. The most important thing for me is to moisturize my ends daily.

5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list) Sometimes, nothing...just rollerset with plain water. Or, I may apply some Giovanni Direct Leave-in and seal with Proclaim Serum. (I am a product minimalist!)

6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner? Absolutely! Weekly co-washing and daily moisturizing have keep length on my head.:yep: I prefer co-washing, because it's just one step, and i believe a healthier step from a moisture-retaining standpoint, than the 2-step shampoo/conditioner process. I try to spend as little time as possible on my hair, and it doesn't miss weekly DCs at all.

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please) I co-wash everyday using Garnier Fructis or Pantene conditioner (I like anything with protein)

2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products? I shampoo only when I do an Aphogee Treatment or straighten my hair. I use a clarifying/neutralizing shampoo.

3) Do you also dc and how often. I DC every week just by rinsing my hair and adding a deep conditioner and sitting under heat.

4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes. Keeping hair moisturized.

5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list) Nothing but the co-wash conditioners listed above for moisture.

6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner? Co-washing and bunning is the reason that I have been able to grow and retain my length. I have stopped using oils and all that other stuff and the bandwagons that I was on when I first joined. My hair is more manageable and moisturized. I really don't have a need for shampoo anymore unless I feel build up (which is not that often) or if I choose to straighten my hair. [/.......................

Those who co-wash BSL & Longer or w/ significant growth through cowash:

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please):
Actually I shampoo a lot too (helps to keep me dandruff free) BUT I clarify only once a month or so. Regularly I use HE LTR (whole line), HE HH, Garnier Fructis Instant Melting Moisture Works conditioner, Garnier Length and Strength, Aphogee Balancing moisturizer line

2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products?
Clarify once a month with ORS Aloe Shampoo or several times a week with any moisturizing shampoo like HE LTR, HE HH, Garnier Moisturizing, etc.

3) Do you also dc and how often.
I try to deep condish once a week if I have time for a long conditioning treatment with ORS Replenishing packs or Hair Mayo or some other natural homemade concoction with olive oil or the Mayo that's about to expire, eggs, or the avocado or banana that's over ripe, etc, if I don't have a lot of time Le Kair Cholesterol Plus, Smooth N' Shine Therapy 60 second critical repair, Alter Ego Hot Garlic Treatment, Silicon mix, etc.

4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes.
Be careful not to overmanipulate wet hair. I only comb once or twice a week in the shower with a Jilbere de Paris shower detangling comb while my hair is full of conditioner. I use loose syles in two big braids or twist updos with bobby pins, no combing or brushing, or I wash and let dry overnight and wear a wig in the am. THIS IS HUGE: Be sure to tuck the ends in to your style so they stay nice and moist throughout the whole day.

5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list)
Honestly not a lot a good leave-in like HE LTR leave-in, Garnier length and strength leave-in, Aphogee moisture balance leave-in, maybe coconut oil or aloe vera gel or a concoction of water, lavender and rosemary EO, aloe gel, glycerin, castor oil, olive oil...

6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner?
I think daily washing period is a wonderful thing for hair (esp. in the summer) it's low maintenance, air drying and heck I'm just plain lazy! I hate putting the time in just to straighten esp. if it's gonna sweat out in the summer and no I will not be doing BKT anytime soon. I don't care what they say there is some derivative of formaldehyde in those formulations and it's not worth it IMO just to have straight hair.

Those who co-wash BSL & Longer or w/ significant growth through cowash:

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)
Daily, but if I get lazy I may skip a day. Currently Proclaim Olive Glossing Conditioner (cheapie)
2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products?
I use a sulfate free poo once a week. Right now it is Jason's Aloe Vera
3) Do you also dc and how often.
Once or twice a week with Joico Moisture Recovery
4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes.
Be mindful of constant manipulation. I'm gentle with my hair and detangle only once a week.
5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list)
I usually apply my conditioner as a leave in and might add a little jojoba oil on top of that before braiding. If I'm wearing it curly, I apply gel over jojoba (no conditioner left in).
6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner
YES! My hair is soft and much easier to manage after cowashing. But, if I could figure out how to consistently get 2nd day hair, I'd do it less often.

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)i co wash daily with anything i am using up but once a week i always use gvp tea tree, on sats.i always use vickies so sexy for dh and hair one cleansing conditioner from sallys once a week - the other four days any cheapie. i also mix a little avocado, macadamea nut or coconut oil in my co wash conditioners
2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products? only after a relaxer. once a month i put baking soda in my conditioner. i also use hair one cleansing condition from sallys weekly
3) Do you also dc and how often. at least twice a week with gvp conditioning balm with oils - bee mine , peppermint , rose mary mixed in or silicon mix 4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes. alway moisturize seal twice a day. i tuck in and hid my ends every day except saturdays when i wear an airdried braid out or wash and go for dh - that is why on sat i use vickies
5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list) leave in gvp fragile something or ntm leave in. then coconut oil all over. then castor oil all over. then at the very end a glob of vaseline to my last 2 inches. then bun or twist and tuck 6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner? yes it keeps my hair moist and the protective styles prevent split ends. i have retained my length. it was hard adjustment to make but now it is a breeze.

I added a poll to this because I'm curious how many co washers are natural vs. relaxed. I'm natural, myself. Please vote and keep the reggies coming too!

Those who co-wash BSL & Longer or w/ significant growth through cowash:

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)Every 3-4 days. I use ors, motions cpr reconstructor, biolage hydrating balm, garnier for dry, damaged hair. basically whatever i have in my bathroom.
2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products? once a month. biolage moisturizing shampoo.
3) Do you also dc and how often. every week.
4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes. I really try not to touch my hair.
5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list) lacio, lacio and then i seal with oils.
6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner? I think cowashing allows me to add moisture to my hair more often because shampooing alot really dries my hair out...so i get moist hair without lots of drying shampoo and my hair isnt dirty because i have washed it sooo often. I think it is a win-win situation.

I am now BSL :drunk: gotta do an update :drunk: and a cowash lover. I am relaxed. Last summer I was APL and cowashed almost every day. This year I cw about 2 - 3 times a week max. It keeps my hair very moisturized and healthy. Now, 5 weeks after my last touch up, some of my hair is almost bottom of bra strap. :drunk: I think it's a healthy hair care practice in that not only are you constantly infusing your hair with moisture which will help prevent breakage, but you are also typically reducing or eliminating heat, which can dry out the hair and cause breakage over time.

I use primarily Redken conditioners to cowash. I used to use cheapies but they just don't work for me. So I used all of them up and have not (will not) repurchase. It's rare that I don't buy a hair product on sale, so even though I cowash with higher end salon products, I end up paying about drug store price. Buying in bulk during the holiday sales (where some products are 50 - 75% off, especially the sets) will save you a lot of money.

Check the summer cowashing thread for even more tips.

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)
Every day or at least every 3 days. I use HE Hello Hydration or HE Hydralicious or Suave Humectant

2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products?

About once or twice a month with CON Green or a Shikakai Shampoo Bar

3) Do you also dc and how often.
Every 4 or 6 months? I have no idea

4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes.

Saturate your hair with conditioner and then detangle in the shower under the force of the water coming from the shower head. Conditioner can make a great leave-in.

5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list)
I have recently tried Carol's Daughter Hair Milk (gets rid of frizz when I wear my hair out) and Fantasia IC gel (to smooth down fuzzies if I wear a ponytail)

6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner?

Yes. Shampoo cleans the hair by stripping off a layer--similar to laundry detergent. This leaves thin, weak, brittle hair. Cowashing moisturizes the hair while cleansing lightly.

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)?
I co-wash maybe every other day. I use whatever my hand touches first. Herbal Essence Long Term Relationship, NTM Daily Deep Conditioner, mostly.
2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products? I shampoo about once or twice a week...during the week with Dr. Bronner's Shikikai Soap diluated with water in a bowl I keep in my shower and Aphogee Shampoo for Damaged Hair
3) Do you also dc and how often.
Once a week with Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner. I've been slacking on this a bit though because I co-wash to keep my hair from being dry.
4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes.
You dont have to detangle often just as long as the surface looks smooth its all good but detangle at least once a week.
Leave-in and oil after lets it dry soft.

5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list) I choose a leave-in and one oil:
Rusk Sensories Smoother Passionflower and Aloe leave-in, coconut oil, castor oil, jamaican black castor oil on scalp, my personal shea-coco mixture for cold days or extra dry hair (Soft and Creamy shea butter, virgin coconut oil, glycerin, cold pressed castor oil, vitamin e oil (super potency 70,000 iu))
6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner?

Its help with moisturizing. I use Dr. Bronners to shampoo so I dont mind shampooing more than once (expect on weekend with Aphogee Shampoo for Damaged Hair to strengthen hair and to use with the other Aphogee products i have).

Thanks I'll look it up. I'm noticing the moisture thing seems true with everyone's post and that's what I'm looking for. I've never used Redken before but I heard so many good things about it.:yep:

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)
I cowash about 5 or 6 times a week if I'm not wearing flat ironed hair. I use VO5 Moisture Milk conditioners, Suave Coconut, or Mane & Tail

2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products?
I shampoo once a week with Creme of Nature (green bottle) or Neutrogena's moisturizing shampoo. I also clarify once a month with Suave's Clarifying shampoo.

3) Do you also dc and how often.
I dc once a week.

4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes.
I like to cowash with a light protein conditioner (Mane & Tail) once a week to keep up the moisture/protein balance.

5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list)
I usually moisturize with my conditioner mix (Suave Coconut, water, castor oil) and seal with olive or coconut oil. Most days I just throw my hair in a ponytail or bun. I use Fantasia IC Gel to slick my edges down.

6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner?
I love cowashing because my hair is easier to manage and detangle with conditioner in it (if I don't detangle once a day all hell breaks loose). It keeps my hair moisturized and it's less harsh than washing everyday. I also love water in my hair lol.

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)
DAILY OR I'LL NO MORE THAN 3DAYS. HE TOTALLY TWISTED, TRESEMME CONDITIONERS, LUSTRASILK SHEA BUTTER CHOLESTEROL TRIPLE ACTING FORMULA-I OFTEN DON'T RINSE OUT THE CONDITIONER OR WILL DO A SLOPPY RINSE WHERE MOST IS LEFT IN

2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products?
ONCE A MONTH OR EVERY 3 WEEKS; DR BONNERS CASTILE SOAP (I HAVE LAVENDER AND PEPPERMINT, A FEW DROPS IS ALL YOU NEED)I DO HAVE THE HAIR ONE HAIR CLEANSER AND CONDITIONER BUT I MAINLY USE IT AS A CONDITIONER.

3) Do you also dc and how often.
I DON'T USUALLY USE HEAT TO DC, I WILL ONLY CONCIOUSLY DO THAT IF I AM STRAIGHTENING. I WILL DAMPEN MY HAIR AND PUT IN EXTRA CONDITIONER. I THEN WILL PUT ON MY CLOTH BALL CAP WITH MY HAIR IN A KNOTAND DO MY WALKING/JOGGING. I THINK IT ACTS LIKE A DC.

4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes.
I TRY TO PUT CONDITIONER IN MY HAIR EVEYDAY AND I USUALLY SEAL WITH SOME SORT OF OIL OR BUTTER. I WAS DETANGLING WITH EVERY COWASH BUT REALIZED THAT I COULD DO THIS ABOUT TWICE A WEEK. ALSO, I NOTICED SHEDDING THIS SPRING AND RECENTLY TRIED A HENNA CONDITIONING TREAMENT--I HAVE SEEN REDUCED SHEDDING SINCE. MOST IMPORTANTLY DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU--SOME PRODUCTS THAT WORK FOR ME OTHERS DIDN'T LIKE AND VICE VERSA.

5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list)
FANTASIA SPARKELITES GEL, GIOVANNI DIRECT LEAVE IN, CANTU SHEA BUTTER LEAVE-IN. I DON'T HAVE A SET ROTATION OR ANYTHING I'LL JUST USE WHATEVER I FEEL THAT DO, SOMETIMES I WILL CHOOSE A PRODUCT THAT HAS MORE PROTEIN IN IT (LIKE THE TRESEMME ANTI-BREAK) IF I FEEL MY HAIR NEEDS IT. OTHER THAN THAT THE WHOLE PROCESS IS PRETTY SIMPLE.

6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner?
THE DETERGENTS IN THE CONDITIONER CAN BE A BIT HARSH AND STRIP HAIR OF MOISTURE. THE CURLIER THE HAIR, THE MORE MOISTURE IT NEEDS. MY HAIR JUST FEELS SOFTER/LUSHER WITH COWASHING.

Those who co-wash BSL & Longer or w/ significant growth through cowash:

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)
I cowash once a week
French products: Elseve de garnier gelee royale, le petit marseillais karite et miel, ultradoux de garnier au lait de vanille

2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products?
Usually once every 4 to 5 weeks or when my hair feels really dirty
French products: Ultradoux de Garnier avocat karite (so moisturising:lick:),
Neutralia de garnier (mix with ACV for clarifying purpose)

3) Do you also dc and how often.
Once a week or every other week it depends.

4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes.
Protective style + protein treatment balance

5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash
My homemade moisturiser ( glycerin+ le kair cholesterol+ spring water, nunaat intensive with cupuaçu butter +some oils) and my mix of oils (olive, castor, sunflowers..).
I moisturise and seal every other day!

6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner?
TREMENDOUSLY:yep::yep::yep:

Also do you find as your hair gets longer that you cowash less? For example that you might have done 5X a week and now it's 2X or whatever?

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please) Almost daily with whatever conditioner is sitting in my shower no specific brands but I have a lot of Suave and VO5.

2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products? Maybe once every 2-3 months with whatever is in the shower and I will add oil to it before I use it.

3) Do you also dc and how often. Once a week.

4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes. Moisture even if it is water is working for my hair. Some days all I have a chance to do is mist my hair while in the shower and keep it moving. I am really trying to keep my routine as simple as possible since this is now a lifestyle I don't want it to become too difficult or taking major time from my schedule on a regular. When I first started I could take hours per day in my head now with a basic routine I don't have that issue until I am changing my hairstyle like adding extension hair for twists.

5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list) Hairveda, and lots of homemade spritzes and creams, all types of oils from avocado to rice bran. Butters are great for me too. Shea, Soy, Avocado, Palm, I don't think I have met a butter my hair did not like. :)

6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner? Yes it has helped me to retain growth and everything else. I tried for years the regular S/C method and it did not work like regular cowashing I truly believe it was the sulfates and other chemicals in shampoos. I am also finding of late a LOT of commercials showing their shampoos no longer contain sulfates, they must be listening.

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please)Once or twice a week, HE LTR in Raspberry:spinning:
2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products? Weekly. I use CON or Prosity Control
3) Do you also dc and how often. Yes,once a week:yep:
4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes. NO COMBING DURING COWASH DAYS!!! :nono:Keep hair in a loose bun.
5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list) Patience Hair Growth Oil for growth and to seal in moisture:drunk:
6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner? All of the above...less drying than shampoo:yep:

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please) i co wash every single day, sometimes twice in a day if my hair needs to be redone. I use pantene relaxed and natural conditioner
2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products? once a week, pantene relaxed and natural shampoo
3) Do you also dc and how often. once a week with ORS replenishing conditioner (the one with the orange oil scent)
4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes. protect the ends!
5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list) non alcoholic gel (the cheap brand, dont remember the name), and more conditioner to scrunch in
6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner? I think it does because my hair is always moisturized. I havent cut my hair in 7 months and i still have no split ends. I feel this is because my hair is never dry. It constantly has conditioner in it!

I've used the Curls Products and Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Products for the past 2 1/2 years.

1) How often do you co-wash and what do you use (name products please) I co-wash every other day with the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Daily Conditioner and I condition with Coconut Sublime Moisturizing Conditioner (Curls)
2) If you shampoo how often (ex: once a month) and with what products? I may shampoo once a month with Curlicious Curls Cleansing Cream when my scalp feels dirty.
3) Do you also dc and how often. No. But, I did use Cassia for the first time last Friday and I'm going to do this weekly!
4) What other special things should one keep in mind when following this regimen for retaining purposes. Never worried about retention. But, another thing in my routine is that I detangle my hair with conditioner.
5) What other products do you use on your hair after you co wash (details ladies! Share your product list) I am natural and I wear my hair curly so I use Curls Souffle as my styling product.
6) Do you think co-washing help you to retain hair growth, moisturize, and heck why do you like cowashing over regular shampoo and conditioner? No, I don't think co-washing helped me to retain growth. I've had WL hair and I wasn't co-washing at the time. I've discovered that when I wear my hair straight I don't have to use any other products at all using this method. It eliminates the frizz and same thing when I wear it curly (eliminates the frizz)

Co washing has help me retain moisture and retain length ...Co washing works for me because I work out and it allows me to keep my scalp clean and return moisture to my hair that sweat stripped away...:yep:
