Why are the little hairs around my hairline blond?

Sorry, I don't have a picture because you can't see it. (I tried) You have to be right up on it, because it's so fine and right around the hairline.

I started noticing it a few weeks ago when I was out in the sun. (My forhead got a little dark).

It looks like new hair and its growing around my hairline.

I just wanted to know if this happened to anyone and why it looks blond.

do you use any facial cleansers or something with peroxide in it? I remember when I was in junior high.... girls would put peroxide on their hairline to dye it blonde.

Hmm. I just assumed everyone had blond hair around their hairline.

Mine has been like that for as long as I can remember.

Ok I feel better!

I just never noticed it before.

I think that getting out in the sun just made it show up more than it has.

I was just really curious to why it's blond and if it will eventually

change to my normal hair color.

My Mom, brother, and I all have those "sandy blonde" (my mom calls them that) baby hairs!
I also have them on my arms, you can barely notice them :look:

My mom has them on her arms, her legs and around her hairline. She also has very light hair though.
I have it too on my arms and around my hairline.
Oh and my brother has them too :p

I don't think it's real scalp hair.

Most if not all people have these very fine, colorless hairs all around their bodies. It's just a type of body hair.
