Tea/Coffee Rinse and Weave

I have done tea and coffee rinses in the past and my hair has benefited from them. I've been wearing weaves for the past few months and am about to get another one installed soon.
My question: Is it safe to do a tea/coffee rinse while wearing a weave? (Human hair not from a BSS but from somewhere like EP)

I would brew the tea and put it in a spritz bottle spray the tea on my scalp and hair instead of pouring over. That way your hair gets the tea but for the most part your weave doesn't

also, if it doesn't agree with your hair when it's weaved up, you won't have saturated it, making it harder to rinse it all out.

sometime weaved up hair acts different than hair that is out and free.

I have my DC in on top of coffee rinse now. I have my tea sitting waiting for this to be washed out.
