Spinoff: Gospel Music Reviews: Artistic Criticism or Judgement?

Here are three gospel music websites that I browse occasionally.

Nuthinbutgospel: http://www.nuthinbutgospel.com/

Gospelflava: http://www.gospelflava.com/index.html

Gospelcity: http://www.gospelcity.com/

As you can see, each website has a section on music reviews. For the most part, the reviews are relatively positive/favorable, usually about the musical aspects (sounds, song production, vocal ability) and on occasionally a mention about lyrics.

This thread came to mind reading the Tye Tribbett thread and how a discussion about MUSICAL PREFERENCES turned into accusations/assumptions about judging others.

Are the writers of these music reviews also participating in a form of judging the gospel music artists when they review their CDs? Or are they exempt from judgement because the reviews are mostly favorable?

Looking for some clarity here.

Let us REASON together....
