Silk & Satin Lined Hats!

Silk/Satin Lined hats will help us with retaining length, so I decided to share some links and agressively pursue finding some hats. I found some over the internet but not in person yet. If anyone knows of any places that sell them please post what you find. I'm searching for my winter hats, so far I haven't needed them but very soon I will. I know you asked for pics of lined hats, but I have such a hard time finding fly lined hats that actually fit my large head so I have resorted to sewing my own silk or satin lining into any hat I find that fits.

I can never find cute styles so I do it myself... sewing the lining right in there... It's easier than you think.

i have this same problemerplexed my head is too big that i don't even wear hats. i'll just throw on some earmuffs and call it a day

Just buy some silk or satin and line your own hats....it's MUCH cheaper and very easy. Try www.dharmatrading.com for silk and silk satin.

OR buy some nice silk scarves and use them.

I think I may have to sew my own silk inside whatever hats i buy. I can't risk buying a hat online to fit this head

My head isn't that big, but it's hard to find hats that look good on my head. Thankfully, my SO crochets so he makes my hats and snoods (is that what those things are called?), and I sew the satin lining inside them. I get the lining to match the colors he uses. We have great fun with this, which may be a sad admission on my part .

I found a satin lined hat a couple of years ago at Macy's. It's this style but in a gray tweed material.
