Hi Transformer, thanks for reaching out to me about this question. You don't need to have a paypal account to pay for your subscription. Paypal is the payment processor, however once you click the link to make the annual subscription payment of $6.50 you do not have to log into paypal to make the payment. All you have to do is just enter your credit card information and the payment will process just like a regular point of sale transaction over the internet. Your credit card statement will probably say something like "paypal/long hair care forum". I also sent you a private message. Let me know if you didn't receive it or if you have any further questions
