I wasn't able to place an order until 9pm est and by that time most of the doorbusters were gone.

Whaaaaaaa?? That's crazy! After the first hour, I was able to move freely thru the site (CST). And I noticed those doorbusters were getting snatched like wigs.

It must be growing pains, it seems like more people are moving from Sephora to Ulta and they underestimated the amount of traffic they'd get. Hopefully they do better next year.

I started a cart on Etsy and not only did they charge more for shipping, they charged more for tax than lakshmiscupboard.com for the same items.

Thanks! I just checked both, and shipping was actually less on Etsy for me. But then the things I wanted weren't eligible for the coupon. So I said nevermind.
