New Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Review

All sold out at one of my local Targets. Going to try walgreens and if it's not there may have to order online.

I'm not convinced they used real manuka honey because the ingredients simply say 'honey.'

Manuka honey is not cheap and is an ingredient that would be properly listed if it was among the ingredients.

Went to another target and found it. I'll probably go back next week. I forgot I had a $2.50 off coupon that expires on the 27th. I'll go ahead and get a backup if I like it.

Im DCing under the dryer with the masque right now! I love the scent, for sure. I took down my sew-in and did a henna indigo gloss so I know this will be a good test for replenishing moisture and hydration.

I LOVE this HHJ!!

First time in a long time I gave into peer pressure :look: and bought a product soon after seeing it discussed on LHCF. So I bought and tried the masque and conditioner this weekend.

I used the condish as a co-wash and followed by the masque as a DC (applied for 2-3 hours, no heat). I liked! My hair was soft (but have had softer hair in the past) and smelled lovely. I just did a henna-indigo treatment a week ago so my hair was super dry going into this cowash. So that could play a role as to why my hair wasn't super soft post co-wash/DC (as it's stilll recovering moisture post henna/indigo). I'll give it a go a few more times to get the full effect.

I see it online. It's listed at the very end of the list of shea moisture products

Thank you. I just picked up the last hair mask at my target store. They only had one shampoo left and plenty of regular conditioners. I can't wait to use this mask on my daughter's hair tonight.

My problem with shea moisture is it's always hit or miss n when I find a hit they seem to discontinue it or I can't find it any more

I agree. I've found that my relaxed hair doesn't care much for their hair masks, but loved the raw shea butter shampoo and conditioner until I got seborrheic dermatitis. My daughters natural 4b/c hair usually likes the hair masks but the shampoos and conditioners are mehh for her. The kids line is great for her though. I love the shampoo and conditioner, but I can't find it any where on my side of town. I have to drive 25 mins to my moms side of town for the kid products.

I'm not so sure I like the smell of this line. I got the Oil , masque and the shampoo..... It is really really strong. The oil is going back b/c I haven't opened it.

I had to purchase more on the masque. I love it... Makes my hair feel super soft and smells really good.

I also picked up the shampoo. Haven't tried it yet, but I love the Yucca shampoo and the raw shea butter shampoo so I have high hopes that I will love the Manuka Honey shampoo too.

Thank you for all the reviews on this. i have been eyeing this @ Target. i do love their Shea Butter (yellow) line. :)

The DC is very hydrating. It had my 15 weeks of NG tiny curls poppin'! Went to Target the other day to get another one and they didn't have anymore :( Same thing happened with the Noni & Monoi DC when it first came out!

But I did get another N&M masque to feed my PJ habit in the meantime. The whole line of this stuff is really good too.

I LOVE this HHJ!!

Yes this DC is extremely hydrating so much so I thought I still had conditioner in my hair and had to rinse twice.. But turns out it just made my hair feel that nice.. Anyway I'll do another follow up review when I finish the jar

Hmm now I'm thinking about getting this hair mask and possibly the shampoo, I already went crazy hunting for the JBCO line at CVS.

I am more impressed with this line to be honest, because it really makes my hair feel soft. I had no trouble finding these at my local Target. I just clicked on "find in a store" and I searched for my nearest location and saw that the products were available there. I am disappointed that I went out of my way to find the JBCO line at a few CVS locations to be honest. And what's worse is that they have no online product in store locator like Target and Walgreens. I am not really a fan of the JBCO line and had to return a few things. I really like the Manuka shampoo, mask and the conditioner is cool too. :yep: I skipped on the serum for now.

YASSSSSS thanks for the links I forgot about that, just found them in a few nearby stores and will stop by tomorrow, probably will just get the mask. The JBCO/CVS hunt left me exhausted and with a headache, I called 20 stores, visited about 10 since Saturday and found the shampoo, leave in conditioner and hair lotion. I still want the hair mask and the serum!

How does it smell? I have a gift card and there's a sale and I'm eyeballing the body products.

I'm sad that I can't really find any relaxed or texlaxed reviews on this stuff on youtube.

No problem. I'm glad that your local stores have them and I hope that you are able to try it soon. The hunt for the JBCO was too much to the point where I don't think I will do that again with other products. I am the type of person who really tries hard to get a product asap if I really want to try them.

I don't really know how to describe the scent, but I will say that it is not a subtle scent for sure and I do like it. My nose has been sensitive to scents lately, but this one is fine for me. I think it really depends on the person.
:yep:

If you love the masque, you definitely should try the conditioner. It's pretty awesome!

I have a review of the shampoo, conditioner and masque posted on my blog.

So far I've tried the masque and today I used the shampoo. I really like it! I did prepoo with coconut oil O/N first and then I did one first lather with ORS Creamy Aloe poo to clarify and chelate since its been one week since my texturizer TU.

I did two lathers with the Manuka Honey poo and it was really nice. I kept my hair going in one direction the whole time to avoid tangles. My hair felt strengthened and somehow thicker while I massaged. Its very moisturizing for a poo. And I thought the raw shea moisture retention poo was pretty good. This one is awesome.

I LOVE this HHJ!!

I tried the conditioner and love it. Its very thick tho so I have to thin it out.

The smell is a deep honey fragrance.

Had it 3 weeks and the bottle is almost gone. Will try the mask next with the matching body stuff

Found the entire line at Target btw
