Sunday night:

Finally crawled out of bed and I am craving pizza and beer - I think I'm doing alright in that case.

Which means SUNDAY I am going to experiment a little bit:

I will start with my usual JBCO and Tea Tree hot scalp massage.
I will also attempt to exfoliate my scalp using brown sugar - something I read on that I've never done before, and might help with the itchies.
I'll shampoo as usual with my Shea Moisture bae, and DC with heat with my Raw Sugar bae
Going to finish with a black tea rinse (this is also new)!
I'll use my TGIN leave-in or my homemade leave-in, whatever's clever, seal with carrot oil, braid in 4 sections and seal the ends with a shea/beeswax mix.

I'll probably wash and go for the rest of the week.

Overnight:
Liquid Gold's Blueberry Hair Smoothie (smells amazing!):lick: Saran Wrap, Plastic Cap

Tomorrow a.m.:
Cleanse: As I Am Cleansing Conditioner
Treat: Cathy Howse Ultra Black Hair
Steam: Bask & Bloom Brahmi Ayurvedic Hair Mask
Final R/O: BeeMine Avocado Cream Conditioner
Apply L-I & Air Dry: S-Curl, DIY SB-Blend

Today after work I did this:

shampoo: Acure Clarifying
DC for 30 Mon with heat: Obia Babassu

And for my LCO:

leave-in: Oyin Greg Juice
styler: Obia Curl Enhancing Custard (1st time using this)
oil: homemade mix of argan, jojoba, castor, olive

I twisted my hair. I'll let it air dry and do a twistout on Sunday.

Overnight treatment:
Ayurvedic Herbal Oil on scalp, Ayurvedic
Ceramide Buttercream Treatment on ends.

Clarified: Soap nuts, Shikakai Powder & Aritha Powder.

Oyin Hair Dew as a leave in, sealed with Raw Shea Butter.

Air dried in 8 braids overnight.

Flat ironed with my FHI platform on 320.

Bunning and/or French braids for the next 2 to 3 weeks.

Just finished 2 ok cornrows with added extensions in DD's hair. Shes happy with em so I might just be being a little hard on myself.
I feel like a homemade flat iron for this event. So right now I'm DCing with the last of my Sally's Repair Ion under the dryer. My aim is an hr.
After I rinse I'll apply my Schwarzkopf ultimate moisture keratin leave in. A heat protectant and then blow dry. Then I'm gonna assault my hair even further with a flat iron job to rival the Dominicans!
Then I'll be back here next week with a protein DC to assuage my guilt.

Overnight Scalp Treatment: Heritage Rosewater and Vinegar Spray
Shampoo: Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat
Deep Conditioner: Alikay Naturals Avocado Cream Moisture Repairing Mask (under shower cap for 20 minutes)
Detangler/Leave-in: Kinky Curly Knot Today

Lightly blow-dried the roots to reduce shrinkage and styled in a puff I will wear all week.

  • Scalp Treatment: Free & Clear Medicated Shampoo applied to scalp, let sit 15 minutes.
  • Shampoo: diluted Ion Hard Water Shampoo on length only

This past weekend I used one of my Follicle Care CayenaWood Shampoo and followed up with APB Broccoli and Avocado Deep Conditioner. My hair turned out really soft. I forgot to use my Hops, Horsetail, Rosemary, Marshmallow and Slippery Elm tea rinse. I may use it tomorrow morning or the morning after before heading out to work.
