Heat protectants.

I just bought a heat protectant called ' silken child shining gloss'. The product seems to have kosher ingredients: cyclomethicone, dimethicone, dimethiconon, hydrolyzed silk, silk amino acid, and fragrane.(2oz./$4.99)

I know that cones are what really protect the hair from heat. I just wanted to know if anyone has used this product before and what experience have you had with it?
Also, for those that don't use cones, are there natural heat protectants that exist (non-chemical) and what are they?

Bumping...I'm curious too. I checked out the links posted but they didn't say anything about natural heat protectants. Has anyone tried silken child shining gloss? Also can coconut oil be used as a heat protectant? TIA .
