Do you use a product that your DH/SO hates?

I do. And it's apple cider vinegar. I recently started using it on my dd's hair and my hair as the final rinse. I don't use it all the time but I notice a difference in our hair when I do.
Well my poor dh hates it, I mean absolutely HATES ithe smell of it when I use it. He says the smell reminds him of the douche his mother's used when he was younger.:lachen::lachen:I nearly passed out when he said this. If only you could see his face you would understand how serious he is when he asks me to not use it.
Anyone else use something that dh/so or someone else hates to smell?

MN, he's trying to grow out his beard and won't put it on his face. He will put Bee Mine on, though he doesn't like the smell too much.

all i have to add is that this is hilarious. oh, and i just saw a post about pink sugar hair perfume. they said it was a silicon spray.

Not a smell, but my DH hates it when I have conditioner on my hair (especially one that goes on clear like ORS Replenishing Packs). He says that my hair looks like a wet cat :perplexed:

My S/O hates the miss jessies curly buttercreme. Its a great moisterizer but it has a very strong peppermint smell that he cant stand. When I run out im going to get the one with out the scent. Love that moisture!

Fekkai has an ACV line.....may be worth looking into, Sephora give away samples of products....the smell may be much better with the same great results....I have not tried it, but it may be an alternative

My DH hates when I mix henna....he walked in on me mixing it in the kitchen and started gagging (smell) asking "who is that for" ...I told him that it was gravy for the rice...LOL

My motto - if I am not messin' with you during ESPN, football, etc...don't mess with me when it comes to my 'do!!!

 Girl as much as my dh, who is from New Orleans, loves rice, he would have escorted me out of the house if it smelled that bad.
But I feel ya. He hates the smell of ACV and I hate the smell of Tommy Hilfiger cologne for men (so he gave it to his brother). Sorry, call me selfish, but I can't part with the ACV just yet.

I heard that...we are on the same wavelength - I had to make my DH get rid of the Nautica - (gag)...besides that TH lasts a lot longer than the ACV smell and the ACV is beneficial! LOL:lachen:

i wanted to do braids to gain length during the winter and my so told me he didn't want me to do it. he was like how am i going to play with your hair.

I do an acv rinse also, but to cut the scent of the acv I follow with another tea rinse. I have not noticed the vinegar scent afterwards. HTH

Mine hated Carol Daughter's Hair Balm. Yes, I gave it away even though it didnt bother me at all.

So no, I dont use products he hate to smell. I wouldn't expect him to use something that I hate.

We both hate alma oil so that was easy to give up!! (smelling like piss) Now, I will add, alma oil purchased from FNWL doesn't stink.

Mine HATES the smell of Henna. I was trying to cuddle up to him one night when I had the henna in my head overnight, he was NOT having it!! He said no cuddling until you take that **** out of yo head, LOL!

Of course I chose my henna over him.

SO hates henna too, but he gets downright rude when I do my homemade prepoo of avocado, honey, coconut milk, etc. He says it looks and smells like it came out of a baby diaper.
