Can you tell me what 1 strand twists are?

I'm trying to master some natural styles. I heard on another site about 1 strand twists. Can anyone tell me what they look like and how to do them? I think my hair has to be a bit longer before I can get the 2 strand twist style down packed. I'm just getting fuzzy twists.

One strand twist is just another way to say Comb coils or Finger coils.

If you've got an inch or more of hair, you can make them with your fingers. If your hair is shorter, you'll need a comb.

Your hair can't be too short or too long for this style as long as your hair is natural.

To make them with your fingers, wet your hair, add a non alcoholic gel and grab a section of hair and twirl it around your finger until you've formed a spiral.
