Can anyone help me with a scripture?

I am trying to find a scripture in the New Testament that says something about accusing or judging others based on your own evil thoughts. Something like that. I need it for tonight and I can't find it anywhere! I can't remember if the text was speaking of false teaching or judging. All I remember is that the scripture was saying you allow your own evil thoughts led you to accuse others.

pretty much all of James 2 but here are some scriptures.

Jam 2:4 have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?

also Matt 7:1-5
