Baggie Method w/o the baggie..

Does anyone go through the steps of the baggie method: putting hair in ponytail, heavily oiling the ends, and bunning without the baggie? Can I achieve the same results without the baggie?

I've tried this before with and without a phony ponytail.... all I ended up with was an extremely oily neck and ends that dried out. Another drawback is that you will constantly have to reoil and reoil to keep it moisturized. It retains the moisture so much better with a baggie.

Girl, if you can, try the baggie method if you can. Maybe with a little tiny baggie. I do it on the weekends with my fake ponytails and my ends love me for it.

I've been doing the baggie for a while now but I was wondering if I could do it without the baggie once I relax but I'll take your advice and continue to use the baggie.
