2015 - Full STEAM Ahead

So... I got an early start.... Did a relaxer today and on my second steam session:

Steam #1: Neutral Protein Filler under hydrolyzed quinoa protein under Affirm Protecto (5 minute, mid-step protein treatment)

Steam #2: Hydrolyzed quinoa protein under Mill Creek Keratin Conditioner under Mark Hill Nourishing conditioner (it has 3 different kinds of hydrolyzed proteins and I'm trying to use it up lol) under aloe vera gel (20 minute protein treatment)

Hi DDTexlaxed

I have a Q-Redew but I have not used it yet but I know some ladies steam by using plastic conditioning caps while they are showering or they get a hot towel and wrap it around their head. Maybe some of the other ladies will respond with some ideas using the Q-Redew.

Thanks for the tag!

I've been slacking with this. I will steam the "old school way" using shower caps, a hot towel, and my stand up dryer.

I will steam once weekly with deep conditioners and oils.

Yes, I need to be in this challenge. 1x week with a wet hot turban for 10 minutes under the dryer with Silk Dreams Vanilla Silk Moisture.

I steamed in my clay with my qredew. I think next time I'm going to steam with my huetiful after rinsing out my clay to see how that works.

Thanks Rozlewis for telling me about this thread.....I'm in!!!!!

2. I plan on using my lcl steamer (thank you DH) for deep treatments and mid week refreshing.

Steaming sometime today with:

Mission:Condition's Honey Marshmallow DC'er over Yerba Mate Tea with Pure Pumpkin Seed Oil on top

It's cold and dry now and I really need to focus on moisture for my hair and skin. Steaming today with cholesterol and avocado oil. I'll also steam my face too while I am at it

Im in this challenge. I love steaming. Will be using various conditioners throughout the year but right now, ill be alternating between bee mine Bee-ti-ful dc and HQS coconut mango dc. Will also use oils and honey.

Steaming for 30 minutes with SSI Avocado Conditioner, almond oil, jojoba oil, and argan oil.

Sent from my SGH-M919 using LHCF

Steamed this week with Q Redew using sm JBCO deep conditioner. I'll steam again with the same product next week.

It's nice how products don't work on wet hair work well on dry steamed hair.

After Henna/Indigo Step-2 process, I steamed for 30 minutes using Jakeala Honey Sweet Thang Hair Mask with Argan Oil on top.

The jury is still out on the conditioner (my first time trying it).
