2 1/2in Growth within 2 months?

wow,I just checked my new growth and measured it and its at 2 and a half inches almost 3. I just got a touchup in July. I don't recall how much a month your hair is suppose to grow, but for me I thought this was good. I haven't even done anything to my hair this summer, now I see, that is the key for faster growth for me.
It never grew that fast before. I use to get 1/2 in a month.
