Where can I get some straight from Jamaica?????
Anyway, JBCO is a MUST for me, I will scalp someone if they took away my JBCO with it I never worry about thinning edges or bald spots, all I have to do is mix some with Aloe Vera and I am good. Because it is so precious to me I ration it out. I only use JBCO on my SCALP, I use the cheaper versions for the hair shaft and conditioning mixes.

I find it best to use it water either with damp hair or I wet my hands the add a few drops, emulsify then add to my hair. That takes the thick and stickies down to something more workable.

I used it on some thinning hair in my crown, didn't see any results, however, I did only stick to it for about 2 weeks.
maybe i should try again?

Yes for me . But I use it on my edges (which were at one point bald) & I've seen a lot of progress... I know pictures help so I'll share mines.

This is what I started with...

This is how it looks now....

Yes you should. For two reasons, most who've had success with it used it consistently over a period of time. Second, regrowing hair on the crown is notoriously time consuming. Two weeks is not nearly enough time to determine success or not.

I saw no difference between JBCO and regular castor oil. Even so, I still want to try the sulfated castor oil.

Yeah my hair got pulled out from wearing tight braids. But when I apply the JBCO to my scalp it is usually mixed with a grease or other oils so that basically once a week. But when I use it on my edges I use it every day, I usually apply it at night so it can soak in at first it was because of the smell but I'm used to it now

I use black CO from Dominica. CO really is good for the scalp to soothe dry scalp, so it's a must-have for that problem, IMHO. I had to whip mine out b/c my scalp is getting dry this winter. Never used JBCO to tell the difference, but I'm sure what I have is comparable.

It's my staple oil. makes my hair really soft. And thickens my hair. I use it for scalp massages and to oil my ends. A little really goes a long way...I've had my bottle (8oz I believe) for a year and it's only half done

No, it's not a must-have for me, especially with the prices they charge plus shipping.

I'll let you know when I've finished working through this case I have. It doesn't smell woodsy to me at all.

When I'm done I'll go to regular CO. But then again, there are other oils I'd like to try also. I also can't say its done "wonders" for my hair as others would say. I've done so many other things, CO is a nice addition but it alone will only do so much.

I love it for deep conditions, hot oil treatments and on my scalp overnight. I sometimes mix it with almond oil to thin it. I have noticed thickening when i'm consistant. I only use a small amount or it will cake up. When stretching, it works wonders on taming my new growth.

I mix mines with Aloe vera gel and apply it at least every other day. I learn about this from my mom. Back when I was in high school, I was standing around during gym playing with my hair, and my fingers found a BALD spot in the back of my head, I am talking BABY SMOOTH, NO HINT OF ANY HAIR EVER BALD!!!! needless to say I was freaking out. I went to visit my mom in haiti during the summer and she used AV and JBCO every day and at the end of summer my hair had grown back nice and thick. That is why to this day I swear by it. NEVER EVER WILL I BE WITHOUT JBCO!! smell or no smell, the results for me makes up for any negatives.
