:wave:Hi ladies, I'm new to this forum, been lurking for a few weeks and have come with a question. My favorite shampoo has been the original formula of CON brand, since the formulary has changed I'm in search of another sulfate-free shampoo. Just to let you guys know I am 4a with really wirey hair, also Im transitioning. Last relaxer 4/09. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. TIA

My favorites are:
Hair One (Tea Tree & Olive oil)
Pure-Castile Soap
This Medicated Scalp and Body Wash I am using
Via Natural Revitalization Cleaning & Preparatory Shampoo
I like Con too...

I brought me some L'oreal EverPure Sulfate-Free shampoo. I haven't yet try it out, but I see if it will be a stable for me.

What medicated scalp and body wash? You've got me curious now. :look: I like medicated stuffs.:look:

I just tried Nourish Spa this weekend. I'm going to use it as my for a month so I can see how I feel about it, but so far it seemed nice.

*searching closet* It is by Home Health it's call Psoriasis Medicated Scalp and Body Wash. It's for people who have Psoriasis. I don't have that, but when I was looking at the ingredients in the store it look so good. The product is creamy and it doesn't lather that much. This stuff left my hair soooooo moisturize and slipper I was literally saying Omgosh. I even wash my face with this stuff. This is my fav product out of any of my no-poos and low-poos. You can get this product at Vitaminshopp or any health food store that carry the product.

Giovanni Smooth as Silk

Jojoba Hemp Conditioning Shampoo (from SheScentIt.com)

Eucalyptus Mint Shampoo (from SheScentIt.com)

Love them all.

:)

Yea, you can I got some from Wal-Mart but I am sure that you may be able to find it elsewhere. (It was about $8 so you may be able to find it cheaper!)

Thanks so much, this will be on my to do list later this week. How does your hair like this shampoo??

Faith in nature tea tree works quite well, very cleansing for the scalp, could be a little less stripping but it isn't very stripping.

The best sulfate-free shampoo I've had is a concoction I put together with:

Essential Oils
Pure-Castile Soap
Baking Soda

If you must buy some shampoo, Aubrey Organics and Jasons have sulfate free shampoos that you can buy at the health food store.

Welcome and good luck.

Welcome to LHCF!! As far as sulfate-free shampoos go, my hair likes Giovanni Direct Tea Tree Triple Treat Shampoo. It doesn't strip my hair and leaves it really soft afterwards. Hope this helps.

I've only been using the one that came with my BKT treatment. It seem to do the job. It doesn't leave my hair ruff. I'd like to try other things but not until I run out...

Komaza almond & aloe shampoo,Yes to cucumbers shampoo,Herbal black soap & shampoo bars

Sorry bout the delay I hadn't used it when I left you that message but I used it last night and my hair is still soft and manageable not hard like it normally is when I shampoo...!:yep:
