Curl Junkie Product Help?

I saw Curl Junkie products on the ground in Brooklyn (Rickys) but didn't buy anything since I had no idea what to try. I'm doing wash & go styles all summer and trying out various products and combinations. I've tried but don't love any of these: Moroccan Oil Curl Cream under Keracare gel (loved the volume but it felt dry on day 3); Ecostyler clear gel over Shea Moisture Coconut Style milk (crunchy and dry); Perfectly Undone conditioner with Curls Goddess gel (looked and felt dry after 1 day; gel had no slip); Wet line Xtreme gel over Perfectly Undone conditioner (looked stringy; will try this combo again with less gel).

My hair is a combo of 4a tight curls with 2 small sections of 3c curls, normal porosity, fine hair. I prefer a full look over definition. I want a moisturized wash & go that will last at least 4-5 days with some shine.

For the Curl Junkie users, what do you recommend?

I checked YouTube and am thinking about:
Curl Junkie Beauticurls Daily Conditioner (leave in)
Curl Junkie Pattern Pusha Gel
Curl Junkie Curl Queen Gel
Curl Junkie Curls in a Bottle
Curl Junkie Coffee-Coco Curl Creme

I used to love the smoothing lotion but then I started using BeautiCurls but they just changed the formula so that is over.
Um I was not a fan of any of the gels
And I liked the daily fix I think is the name but it is co-wash.

I like their protein conditioner best. But love curls in a bottle & Curl rehab also

I hear the beauticurls daily conditioner is much better than the leave in version.

I love the Smoothing Lotuon. That's the only leave-in from CJ I've used but none of their other products have ever disappointed me. I've heard great things about Curls in a Bottle. I love their DC's also Curl Rehab and deep Fix.

I've been reading about Curls in a Bottle being a finisher....as if you need to use it over the leave-in and styler?

I hate when companies change the formula for products that work. So frustrating!

I used Repair Me and the other protein treatment (can't remember the name). I tried the smoothing lotion but not as a natural. I just got their Banana and Hibiscus but I won't be able to give an assessment until the weekend. From what I've tried, I only hated the smoothing lotion and that's because I have low porosity hair. I will probably try beauticurls soon, but probably when I big chop for good.

You can't really go wrong with curl junkie. If your hair doesn't mind AVJ, you will definitely find some staples. The line is very moisturizing.

I remember liking the curl rehab for both a DC and leave in, beauticurls was an amazing leave in but I heard that the formula changed. The repair me is also really good. I have tried the smoothing lotion and while it has amazing slip, it had zero moisture. I also tried the argan and olive conditioner and it is great as a leave in conditioner.

And this is why it's so hard for me to find leave ins versus DC. There are ingredients I cant tolerate in a leave in I can tolerate in a DC with glycerin, Shea and aloe vera being good examples. This is why my leave in collection is scamp, but I wind up loving every product. I'll check this stuff on Friday as there is a Ricky's by my job.

I pretty much liked everything I tried and most if not all have been repurchases.

I've never tried any of the Stylers or L-I's.

I bought the Smoothing Lotion and the Smoothing Conditioner again a while back, but I've only used it once.

The 1st time I purchased it I was relaxed, so now the game has changed.

Girl THIS. That is why I stick to my staples and don't stray. I have had to throw away/give away WAY too many products.

I don't find the smoothing lotion to be very moisturizing. This is probably because I use products with silicones so I'm used to my hair feeling a certain way, and the smoothing lotion didn't cut it for me. I have an almost full bottle (that I used once) of the smoothing lotion and curls in a bottle (also used once).

If anyone wants to pay for shipping they can have them.

I'll pay for shipping if no one else has messaged you yet. I've been trying out curl junkie little by little because of their prices.

I refreshed my bun this morning with Curls in a bottle. Love this stuff, forgot I even had a little left.

I'm going to do a haul of CJ products on their Easter sale next year.
