I've lost my curl!!

I\'ve lost my curl!!

I took my hair out of braids, and my curl is gone.. When I wash it, it just lays in this half curl state. I've tried cholesterol, magic oil, s curl, and not puting anything in it. I'm no stranger to putting in and taking out braids, and I normally have no real definable curl for the first few days, but this has been over a week- maybe two!
What gives, and what can I do?

I think it'll come back mermaid. Don't panic.

Have you been using all the same products? How's the weather? How long were the braids in?

Yes, my hair is colored, but it has been for years-
I'm pretty much using the same "out-of-braid" products, meaning, I haven't bought anything new since the last time they were out of braids.
I'm in Seattle, so the weather is wet, wet WET!
The braids were in for the shortest I've ever left them in, since the beginning of November (not solid, I re-did them once).
I'm doing the same ol' things I've been doing, but I'm just getting puffy roots and sad looking length, just kind of a worn out wave- not even a wave, just neither straight or wavy or curly!!
