2 Strand Twist

I am going to get the 2 strand twist done to my hair and want to know the best type of hair to get? Something that will not harm my hair and allow it to maintain as much moisture as possible.

I don't use extenstions for my 2 strand so I can't really recommend. Hopefully someone will chime in.

I've had it done using kinky hair but it must've been a cheap brand because it was really hard and itchy. I didn't like it at all. Everytime it touched my face or shoulders, it just felt scratchy. I've heard you can just use regular kanaekalon (sp?) hair but I don't know.

I believe kanaekalon is used in the Crown and Glory method. I will get kanaekalon.

I'm getting my hair done Saturday and wanted to know if there is anything I need to do before that time? i.e. deep condition, clarify, etc.
