This thread is dedicated to the beauty of marriage. What it means to your heart. It is a celebration of one of the most beautiful gifts that God has given us.

I love Marriage. I lovvvvveeeeeee Marriage. I hold it sacred and dear to my heart. Marriage is my 'Ministry' and it always will be.

I cherish the gift of it and I deem Marriage worth fighting for, no matter who / what the opposition is. I fear no oppostion, because I know that I am holding dear, what God holds dear.

The beauty of a Man and a Woman coming together as One is truly amazing. For when the husband unites with his wife, the two of them become a perfect fit that no other can copy. It's God's promise to Adam, fulfilled, that He would make him a 'helpmeet' suitable.

Adam awoke and when he saw Eve, he said immediately, 'Now here is bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh'.

Now how beautiful is that? They were truly one.

I just thought of this: God literally breathed His own breath into both Adam and Eve. They both received one on one resucitation from the breath of God, directly into their airways.... DIRECTLY from God.


Now that's a HUGE WOW.... Ummmm, yeah... WOW!


So.. share the beauty of what Marriage means you. I truly believe that there is healing and Ministry about to take place in this thread for Marriages and for the conception and birth of new Marriages which to some, who thought it would or could never happen, yet... it shall.

God is still in the business of betrothing His daughters and with the right men.

I believe marriage is a reflection and example of how our relationship with Christ should be. Its when 2 people come together and become one mind and one heart for the furtherance of ministry and the glory God.When a woman submits to her husband and desires to bed led and instructed.When she can trust that her husband will be that spiritual leader.But he doesn't rule with a rod iron but by the word of God and compassion and love. They are bestfriends .Just as quick as they are able to go to the movies, they are just as quick to pray and fast and seek the face of God together.They are each others encouragers and strength.

Like my old pastor would say...get the Holy Ghost and a married couple together and FIREWORKS! Whew ...give me a minute to pray and be the "consertive Christian" wife. Then I will post my thoughts. The secular world has nothing on our "holy marriage". All I can say right now is people are missing out if their marriage bed isn't like the Song Of Solomon!

I love Marriage..surely it is God's gift, which should not be entered into unadvisedly.

It's a gift from the Most HIgh, it's a MINISTRY it's the most INTENSE form of love there is next to love from YHWH/G-d it represents a marriage covenant that we have with Him and the sacrificial love that Yahshua/Jesus did for us. it's a life long period of refining one another loving one another intensely.. I want to have an intense passionate YHWH centered marriage because I want hurting women everywhere that true love STILL does exist but it's because I found it in YAH/G-D FIRST.. THEN MY HUSBAND..

Marriage is a reflection of the Trinity where two become one flesh. God cares so deeply about marriage that He gave man and woman the ability to participate in creation through the sacrament of marriage! Marriage is a covenant between the couple and God and it is unbreakable.

Marriage is extremely important to God, so much that His relationship to His bride, the Church, is described throughout the Bible as a marriage. In Revelations, the coming of Christ is juxtaposed with the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Marriage is deep despite what we have done to cheapen and denigrate it.

I believe deeply in it and pray that I am one day called to experience it but as a single woman, my bridegroom is Christ first and only He has the ability to give me away in Holy matrimony. In a quote about purity before marriage, Fulton Sheen said "To keep the secret [chastity] for God until God calls to another in time is the greatest happiness given to hearts in this vale of tears. It may very well be that with God's special grace, the secret in some will be kept forever because of [His] desire that no other shall know it but God Himself." That little quote helped set me free. If it's God's will to keep me for Himself, I surrender to His will. He knows I want marriage and a family but I want to live the life He dreamed for me when He created for me more than anything.

I'm digressing but I take marriage very seriously.

I appreciate that but a part of me has just let it go. I haven't given up per se, but I'm trying to detach myself from something that might not happen. It's a self-preservation thing I guess.

The men were in the boat; the wind and the sea arose. They were sore afraid. Jesus heard their cry and went running to their rescue. He ran to them so quickly that He, Jesus' Walked on the Water towards the boat they were in.

The men saw and thought it was a 'spirit'. Peter recognized that is was Jesus and Peter cried out...

"Lord if that be you, bid me come"

Peter was fine until he took his eyes off of Jesus (the promise which came to save him from drowing). He fell and flailed his arms in fear in the water...

Im so sorry, my posts may not be that serious but I admire you ladies so much and honor you! I guess maybe because my marriage is still so young (only 4 yrs technically) also my husband I are very young; sometimes maybe I focus a little much on the physical but thank you Lord that Christian marriage doesn't have to be boring! Words cannot truly describe how much I praise God for my marriage and for him choosing me to be my husband's wife. I thank Him for setting me apart and the whole preparing process of it all. That is why I love the story of Queen Esther and how the Lord prepared her for 1 year before He introduced her to her husband.

Also, I am reading a book called "Beauty Secrets of the Bible" extremely good read! Full of tons of things the beauty industry doesn't want women to know about natural products and the many harmful by products placed in mainstream products. It also talks about women's health and body image based on God's principles. I definitely recommend this book for wives

It has been a wonderful journey with my husband thus far (even through the "downs")and just the learning experiences and encouraging each other with our visions from God and building His Kingdom on this Earth. It's a shame how the world tries to mimick His covenant but it will never ever be blessed and transcend time like His true covenant. I will not ever agree that same sex marriage is ordained of God nor will I ever be moved but this world's perverse view of sex. I truly take God's marriage as the Church being presented to Christ and woman presented to man. I am so priviledged & grateful to be apart of such a divine order. Being a believer is an amazing title to carry!

This is such a beautiful testimony. The more Christian wives and wives to be share about marriage, the stronger it becomes, defeating the enemy's tactics to destroy and pervert it.

The more Marriages the world 'sees' that are holy and successful and celebrated, the stronger Marriage becomes among us and the weaker the weapons and warfare against it.

Please don't anyone think for one minute that God will not raise up more and more husbands and wives that honour and represent Him and what marriage represents. It's a lie when folks say otherwise. It's lie that satan wants Christians to believe so that they give up and many end up in sin, as did Abraham when he and Sarah did not believe, what seemed to them, impossible.

I thought I was being "risque" but from what Ive seen in so many churches is that a woman's beauty is shunned upon but then they wonder why almost70% or more of men in church according to reports are engaged in porn on a regular?! I have been looked down on for my beauty in the past and that's the enemy. That even keeps some women from going to church! I embrace my beauty and don't let the enemy condemn me. I would be a fool to not want to be appealing to my husband! That is one of the reason's he was attracted like a bee to honey.

God loves beautiful things! He created such beauty in this world and I am all for beauty and femininity that is appealing. The outside should match the beauty we have on the inside. Yes, the enemy has perverted beauty and convinced women that we need to "skin out" and show the goods to get attention and get a good man. And the problem of porn in the church is disgusting.

I can't really verbalize what marriage means to me, for a long time my only view of it was put together by what I saw on TV and around me, which wasn't good. It's only after discovering LHCF and coming closer to God that I'm having a different perspective on it. I will however share this little story I read yesterday, that really touched my heart and showed me what marriage stands for, sometimes you'll have to weather storms...litterally.

This came right on time for me! I had a dream where I was being questioned by a relative on when I will be married and of course this woke me up with a heavy heart :-( however, after coming here and getting my daily dose; I know that God is writing my love story. I will continue to push through and pray and be patient for what God has started, then he will finish.
