This photo is a throwback but her hair is now BSL and she does bkt's like nobody's business.



She trims my hair so well and she is NOT scissors happy. She does a really good job with my hair lol. She can actually tame my hair . She's not a member of this board but she in on "Stylista". She knows all about APL, BSL, and al that.
I can honestly say, she has a long term customer.

Awe man, she lives in Tampa? *kicks rocks* It's cool, dontspeakdefeat lives close enough to my parents in GA that I think I'm gonna be good once I can finally make it out to see her.

Her hair sit is fab...she might want to add some more pics of her work though. You know hair porn is what brings all the girls to the yard.

I'm in the search of a new hairdresser. Everyone I find seems to be really scissor-happy! There was one lady who I spoke to and I asked her what products she used because her hair was SWANGIN. She said "it's not in the products you use, it's in the way the hair is cut. Black women hate to cut their hair thus their hair will always be unhealthy".
Hold up! SAY WHAT??? Now I'm jst like mmhmm...surrre. At the time this happened I was at the beginning of my hair care research and the major thing I learned is put like this: hair is like capitalism where wealth is greater than income. Say there r 2 women: one w/ WL and the othr w/ SL. The WL's ends r fried, see through, NO SWANG (income). The SL's ends are thick, her hair is shiny, IT COOPERATES WITH THE WIND, not against it (ASSETS) . These assets are achieved through conditioning, protein treatments, etc.
After ages , she finally said that she uses bumble and bumble (i think that's what its called). I asked for her card anyway just so I wouldn't seem rude.
At least this situation forces me to become self sufficient!

I would love to find a stylist in Atlanta that can do S&D or light trims.

Thanks, Im new to Tampa area. I was contemplating waiting until February to fly back to Virginia to have my stylist touch me up.
