Do you do them on wet hair?

Do you use some sort of setting lotion/spray on dry hair?

Or can you just use a moisturizer/oil of your choice on dry hair to do them?

Help soon...i want to do them tonite and its 1130 here on the east coast!

All of the above.

I've done them each way you have mentioned. While wet-will give you a tighter curl when let loose.

Dry with moisturizer will give you a looser curl.

If you're leaving the knots in wet/dry- doesn't matter.

Whisper "bleep boop" to yourself when you're sad.
I've only done them on wet hair. I just use leave in, sometimes a leave in and a serum :yep:

For me, when I did them on wet hair it was too curly and tight; I prefer to do them on dry hair that has been lightly spritzed with leave in or water.

HTH!

I've...never even thought about that. I just sorta do them. But I do hold mine with a rubber band, so it doesn't REALLY matter now, does it? How'd they turn out, op?

thanks ladies...i did them on dry hair with some leave-in conditioner (random stuff i found under the sink that needed to be used) ...along with some coconut oil...then i spritzed the knots with water after i secured them with bobby pins...crossing my fingers they'll turn out okay in the morning!

btw im doing them on my weave..lol
