When do you prefer to trim hair?? When it's wet or dry???

for those who do not use much heat, how do you trim while wet (if your natural), or do you straighten every few weeks to trim??

I prefer my hair cut wet. I think I get a better, more precise cut.

Are you natural??

I'm trying to not use heat on my hair until next December, but I know I need a trim...

But my hair is also curly, so I'm wondering how i would be able to trim, without the ends being straight.

This morning I was watching the show on TLC called What Not to Wear and the stylist always cut/trim/dust the clients hair when it is wet.. He shampoo, conditions, then the cut the hair.. I started thinking that's when the hair is in its natural state without any products and the cut/trim/dust is sealed once the products are added... So for now on I will be trimming/dusting ends while wet.. :yep:

I say cut/trim/dust on dry hair. Hair ''draws'' up as it starts to dry. That way you can get a more precise cut.

Mos def dry (my hair is texlaxed). And unless you have some VERY good haircutting shears...you don't want to cut you're hair wet. Recipe for future disaster...
