Christian Albums?

I'm looking to expand my Christian music collection and I was hoping for some recommendations.

I love Christian artists such as Mary Mary, Marvin Sapp, Martha Munizzi, Yolanda Adams....but aside from the really big Christian artists, am I overlooking some really good Christian music that aren't as well known?

I have a Christian mix CD and I love 1 of the 2 discs. Should I be checking for a new artist, a particular church choir, etc?

I'm not sure if J Moss is considered a big artist. I like his 1st and 2nd cds ... especially the 1st.

Hmm ... I'm not sure if you're into Christian rock; if so, Flyleaf is a good one.

I'll see if I can come up with more.

Okay, J. Drew is another one. He's Kierra Sheard's lilttle brother. I've only heard a couple of his stuff, but it was good.

There are some threads here you might like to see where ppl have listed some of their favorites. Is there a certain type of music you like?

These are just a few. I did a search for favorite songs in the CF. I hope this helps. I'm sure some other ladies will chime in.

^^^ i'd add their mother, Karen Clark Sheard, esp. her album "It's Not Over".

Israel and new Breed-- every album is great but the three: New Season, Live from Another Level and Alive in South Africa has their classic praise and worship songs.

Deitrick Haddon ( i esp. like his "Together in Worship" album with Voices of Unity)

aside from other big folks like Ce Ce Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Tye Tribbett, Fred Hammond, I love Lisa McClendon (she's neo soul gospel), Stephen Hurd, Juanita Bynum, Judith McCallister Christie, Byron Cage, Smokie Norful, Shekinah Glory Ministry, Joann Rosario, Kurt Carr, Ashmont Hill, Hillsong, William Murphy, FIYA and James Fortune, Jonathan Nelson, Freda Battle and the Temple Worshipers (their Here is Our Praise album is awesome)

Lately I've been moving away from the "big" Gospel singers and listening to more Indy Christian singers and rappers. CDs I bought recently (amazon.com or iTunes) that I really like are:

Leah Smith- Beautifully Made
JR- Metamorphosis, Life in Stereo
Jas Knight- The Psalter
Sho Baraka- Lions & Liars
Hazakim- Theopofines (sp?)
Ndelible- Time & Chance
Lecrae- Rebel
